Email contact list stolen

I want to report that my email account has been hacked into and my contact list stolen. I know this because some of my contacts have told me they've had spurious emails with links to websites in them. I have an outlook account with a hotmail email address. I normally access my email via Windows Live Mail. I have changed my password, reverified my account, and warned everyone on my contact list to delete any mail they receive from me that is of this spurious nature. I am concerned about what other personal information may have been stolen.

Is there any particular person/group/company I should have reported this to?

I have an instagram account. Instagram reset my password for security purposes. Instagram asked for my email to reset my password, in whichI gave it to them. When I went to check for the password reset email, nothing came up. That's when I realized that Hotmail upgraded to outlook and in order to now recieve e-mails under this account I have to change it to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I Need to access my old hotmail (the one I had before the update) because that's where the email is. Is there any possible way that you all can search and see if it was mistakenly deleted? I need that email and thanks to Hotmail update, I don't have immediate access to my old emails.

Cannot send my hotmail email. Keep getting messages from Outlook.com to sign in to verify my account. Done that successfully several times over the last week, whenever message comes. Still getting requests from Outlook.com. Still cannot send email.

Problem Syncing Outlook Hotmail Account to IQTELL Website

I've tried to sync my Outlook Hotmail account with IQTELL.com, but with no success. When I'm at the IQTELL website I select Setup a new email account. I'm then prompted to select a provider. I select Outlook. I'm then prompted to enter my email address and password. I enter the email address and password that I use to access my Outlook Hotmail Account on a daily basis and then click add. I then receive the following error message: "Could not establish connection to the mail server with the specified credentials. Please verify the account settings and that you selected the correct provider." I've asked the IQTELL staff to help me breach this impasse, but nothing they've suggested has worked. What's odd is that I'm able to add my Gmail Account to the IQTELL website with no problem. I just enter my email address and password and presto I'm there. I'm hoping that someone in this community has the answer that will help me setup my Outllook Hotmail email account on the IQTELL website. I'd like to be able to access both my Gmail and Hotmail accounts from the IQTELL website.

I have been running an email address with Hotmail at TalkTalk *** Email address is removed for privacy *** but have new lost this address which has been superceeded by Microsoft outlook. Is there any way I can retrieve my old Hotmail account?

Entire hotmail inbox deleted – help!

My hotmail email account (of 15 years or so) seems to have become an Outlook account, and in the process appears to have erased all my previously saved (important) emails from my inbox. I don't have any rules enabled for sorting new messages, I have selected the option to show messages individually rather than by group, and can't see any other reason for the disappearance of my data.

Please advise how this can be restored urgently.

Funny isn't it. I have had my Hotmail email account for over 10 years have thousands of emails a lot of which I wanted to keep, and I only realised today that the vast majority of my inbox, is missing. Now I've browsed this forum and noticed the blame being conveniently shifted back to the end user. Sorry, that's not good enough. How do you go all that time, users having multiple phones, multiple email browsers and yet suddenly, you get a flurry of complaints and try to pass the buck back on us?

You talk about the users configuring something wrong... to me it sounds like YOU got something configured wrong.

Admit what you did Microsoft, because I want my thousands of emails back, my history. I doubt any of that will ever happen.

I have been a loyal user of your's for so many years but you've really left a sour taste in my mouth.

So:

1) What did you do with my emails?

2) When are you going to admit fault?

I asked another question (here) that is better suited with the current subject.

I have had a Hotmail email account for years, and I receive emails right up to now via Outlook Connector is Outlook 2010 desktop. Sometime in the past year or so (I'm guessing April 2012, based on email with subject 'Welcome to Outlook.com Preview') , an Outlook.com account was established. It has only 4 emails, and appears to have been created "on behalf of" *** Email address is removed for privacy *** - so I guess it is not linked to my Hotmail account *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

How to I transition my entire Hotmail email content (some hundreds of emails, which I can see in desktop Outlook 2010) into the web-based Outlook.com? Should I (somehow) create an account in outlook.com which uses my existing email address (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***)?

ie, What can I do to get all my Hotmail emails in the same place?

Ok my problem is thatt my sign in is blocked. i try to sign in with a hotmail email and its blocked. the password i had doesnt work. I tried to reset my password it says that the incorrect information has been used to many times. i try to fill out the form and never got a response. i tried to use the single code and never got a response. i would like to get into my hotmail account again. someone help me.
