Not getting e-mail from hot mail

I not getting E-mail in my hot mail account : this is the information that I received each time :an operation on the server time out,

Server may be down, overload or too much net traffic.

Outlook can not find the server. Verify the server information entered correctly into the account setting and that your DNS setting in the network is correct.

I like using windows live mail, I had no problems with importing Hot mail account and yahoo mail account, but I had hours of problems trying to set up Shentel mail account to be received in windows live. I never set up a gmail mail account but shentel uses gmail. IS THERE A CONFLICT WITH WINDOWS LIVE MAIL AND ACCOUNTS USING GMAIL? I do not know what I did but I deleted the gmail account that was listed on windows live and now, I have lost all that I have done including the windows live account. Thanks

So I am just finding out that my hot mail account was switched to outlook. When I signed in all of my emails were gone and I am not receiving any new emails from my hot mail account through outlook. What am I doing wrong?!?

I added my e mail account again, as above answer suggested, trying to sync draft account. Have duplications now and a really big mess.

I did what someone else's answer I added another account, my hot mail account. This did not sync the draft account. Now I have

duplications of everything, all folders, all messages, and they are all mixed up together. It's a big mess.

How do I delete the added account ? I can add, but can't find how to delete the second account, (which is a duplication)

My son couldn't get on xbox live until he went through some 2 step verification. Now I can't receive emails from my hot mail account on my phone. My phone company says it's because of this 2 step verification. How can I cancel this or fix it so I can still receive email through my android phone?

I Have a problem when logging onto my hot mail account ( hotmail.co.uk) . I get a error return code of :

mail live error #97.c281093d.1378777162.cb05113

I have looked on the web and there are suggestions that i download a quick fix program , to be honest Im not sure if it is safe to use these and the cost implication. I run McAfee total protection on my computer and there are no viruses or problems detected .

My Hot Mail account has been hacked. I can no longer access my mail or my address book. I was given a number to call and they told me they would charge $ 189 to fix. But then I called MICROSOFT. They sent me an e mail about the forum but I do not know how to access it to fix my problem. Can someone out there help me. I would like to be able to continue to use my hotmail account with the same address if that is possible. If not at least be able to access my inbox and continue to use Hot Mail perhaps with a new address and password. Where do I go from here?

I do online surveys and get work for my employer among other things,
