Hi Team,

My name is Wael Imdoukh, resident of Dubai (UAE). I have been using my email account "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" for more than 15 Years and now all of sudden on August 13th 2013 someone has hacked my email account and sending out emails to all my contacts and asking them money.

I am also copying the email below, the hacker has sent to one of my contacts for your reference :

Sorry to bother you I'm presently out of town, I made a quick trip to Cyprus but unfortunately for me my bag containing my phone, money and some personal stuff got stolen Last night.Can I get a quick loan for 2500 Euros to cover my expenses? Team, i request you to please help me get this account back at the earliest so that i can inform all of my contacts that email was hacked and not to initiate any money transfer.

Please also take a note that i have tried to submit a form on Microsoft website but did not found fruitful results. tough i do have the information of the email i have sent.

Please also note that i have submitted a written complaint to the local police station in Dubai because the hacker do have the soft copy of my Passport (as it was saved in my emails).

Over the last week I have not been able to access my emails via my mobile phone. I have contacted Sony and they have suggested that because of the change from Hotmail to Outlook this could be causing the problem. I get an error message saying "unable to connect to server". I have deleted my email account and tried to reinstate a new one only to get the above error message. Please investigate and advise. Also, could you provide the correct settings for the email account.

Yesterday my email account was hacked. I received an email notification from Microsoft and went in and changed my password. Now when I login to my account its all in a different language. Also, now I cannot receive, send any emails from my iphone and also my other email account is doing the same thing.

Please can someone help me:

I have had my email account blocked, we have tried on several times to access the account. We have forgotton the password, so Please Please help. There is an awful lot of information on the e mails Holiday records, Club membership information and lots and lots of other things, we can give you booking details many many Travelodge bookings etc.,. We have a holiday coming up on the 21st September and we are unable to check in as all the details are on the emails we are Flying with Fly Be.

We have tried filling out the on line form with no success, several times, we have made many phone calls to no avail.

Please Please help it has been over a week now and i am getting worried as people are asking me for information and i am unable to help them as all my information is on my e mail account.

For some reason my account says that it has been hacked and now is blocked. I have tried many times to access my account through the verification form but none of them are going through, and the unblock code goes to a random email address that I do not have, I have also tried to change my password which I can change but when I try to log back in it still says that my account has been hacked.

I have to access this account since February and nothing at all has worked!! Ireally need access to it for business reasons.

How go about unblocking it?

Changed email password to stop getting hacked but now I can’t get the emails on my iPhone and other Apple products, can anyone help me?

For a few months, I've been having these weird emails sent to my email address along with all of my contacts (luckily not many people) and somehow they use my email address to send them. One had a link like this: http://clubmbc.com/facebook.com.weightdropm.php?googleid=386 It's really annoying spam rubbish.

This morning I had attempted to change my password but then when I went on my iPhone, it said the new password was incorrect and now I've tried changing my password about 4 or 5 times yet the same exact problem proceeds to happen. On all my apple products, which are supposed to be synced with my email account, I've tried deleting the email account and re-adding it but this appears each time:

I've also tried to change the password back to the old one but... that didn't work because Microsoft refused to let me. I've tried using Google to find a solution but most posts lead back to 2008 and have solutions which no longer work.

I know on my apple products that there are two ways to add my email account: hotmail or other. The hotmail outcome is shown in the picture above while what I get for putting my email information in other comes up with an error saying: POP server "pop3.live.com" is not responding. I've tried making the password shorter to 8 characters yet the problem still consists. I've tried changing my password on SMTP to the most recent but the server port timed out and just refuses to work.

So well, I hope anyone can help me get this all working again and thanks for reading. If I haven't made some parts clear, then please do ask me and I'll try to reply quickly!

Recently I removed Norton Antivirus and replaced with Vipre Security/Antivirus. Since then I have problems sending email. Also, My email account is MSN/Hotmail Plus account that I put thru Outlook.....running Sm Busi 2007. Please help, do I need a differenc Port number.?

Create an archive - Set up a folder on your PC’s hard drive where you can save large attachments, then just delete them from your inbox. You’ll still have them, and your inbox will be much smaller.
Make your filters work for you- Did you know you can set up your Hotmail account to immediately delete junk e-mails? Go to Options, and click Filters and reporting. Under the “Delete junk e-mail” section, select Immediately to delete junk e-mail right away. Once you’re finished, click Save and you’re done.
Delete a bunch of mail at once- Go to your Junk and Deleted folders, and clear them out by clicking the “Empty” button in the action bar.
