having trouble retreiving the original message sent after receiving a delivery status failure message

I sent an email to my own personal email and BCC another recipient. I received s delivery status failure message with delivery failure to my own email account. I believe the message was too large for my hotmail account. I would like to know
1. if the other BCC recipient received the message even though my acct did not
2. How do I retrieve the original text message in the body of the email and attachment. Nothing is reflected in the Sent folder.
