I cannot use the spell check feature in Windows Live Mail.  I have uninstalled/reinstalled Windows Essentials  (2012).  It did not fix the problem.  I have selected American English as the default language (Apply/OK).  That didn't fix it.  I have not been successful trying to find a solution already present in the Forum or the Community.

Using Mail application from Live Essentials package I write messages in different languages. Is there any way to quickly change spell checker language within message window?

As for now I have to go for application options and change spell checker default language (it affects all messages written from that point of time - till I do not change it again). I would prefer to change spell checker language in real time within the message window (as it's possible in Outlook).

Did I missed something or that quick language change is not possible in Live Essentials Mail?

I'm using English (UK) as default language.  Somehow, a few of the default spellings have been changed, and I can find no way to modify them.  An example, i often type "i" when I mean to type a capital "i", and then have to go through the message and correct each one individually, as they are not picked up.

Can I change the default spellings so that it highlights this, or automatically changes them?

Also, when I type my christian name without a capital letter it does not highlight this. Same issue, I'm sure.

Can I make any changes to default spellings, and if so how?

Thanks.
