....or any components of email description when in folder mode

It always amuses me when Microsoft fails to comply with what have either explicitly or implicitly become "rules" in Windows.

It is almost universal that right-clicking on something, at least textual, enables a "Copy" (to clipboard) function.

When I am in folder mode and highlight one or more emails, why can't I copy that highlighted info. (e.g. From, Subject, Date) to the clipboard?

Instead, and correct me if I am wrong or please, please, tell me if there is software out there that will enable me to do it, I have to open them individually, marquee select the subject and copy to the clipboard and then paste, individually, into an app.

OK, it isn't so bad when you only have one but, any more than a couple and it is a pain.

So, why can't we "Copy" the info. displayed when in folder mode? (and, I don't want an image!)

Whenever I want to write a longer letter to send by email, I compose it first in Notepad, then copy and paste into the email programme. This works with everything but Hotmail. Is there any way to copy and paste to Hotmail?
