I just installed Windows Live Essentials. In Windows Live Mail, attachments are indicated in the message header, but there is no link in the message for those attachments.
While composing an e-mail, I go to insert, then files as attachments, open the file I want to attach, then get message in box that Internet Explorer has stopped working and I have to close. Running Internet Explorer 10.
Problem: I received an email with four attachments, all named "photo.jpg". WLM 2012 (Build 16.4.3508.0205) will open the first and last attachments correctly. If I click on the second or third attachment, the fourth attachment opens instead.
I can right click on attachments two and three, saves as, and that works fine.
Any ideas as to why normal opening isn't working?

Over the past month or so, every time I try time I send an email with an attachment of couple meg or more, regardless whether a group distro or individual, I will get this error code. In some cases, after several resends, it may go! Is this an Outlook
error or an ISP issue. Note, i have no issues getting large attachments (>10 mb)!
Any ideas?

I am using Firefox version 24.0, and since I was "upgraded" from Hotmail to Outlook (worst decision ever in my opinion), I have been unable to send or forward any emails with attachments.
Is extremely frustrating and I wish I could just go back to the normal Hotmail!
I have read several of the questions/answers on here and NONE of them have been of any help to me.
Tried to speak to someone on the live helpdesk, but they unfortunately directed me here.
I hope someone can assist as really is getting on my last nerve.

How and which attachments do I remove
I've had Outlook.com for quite some time. Email has been pushed to both my IPhone and IPad with no issues. Now I've noticed that I no longer receive emails with attachments on either device. Emails with no attachments go to both devices fine. Emails with
attachments are being received as I can view them through the browser. I setup my account on an old device and the issue is the same. No emails with attachments. I setup another account through outlook.com and when I send an email with the attachment it comes
through fine. So this has to be something with my account but for the life of me I can't find anything in the settings that would cause this. Thanks in advance for any help.

I have the default installation of Outlook for MAC 2011 (14.3.7 - 130812). I have setup an Exchange account for my work and two POP/iMAP accounts for personal use. I am trying to understand the folder structure for the email (and any attachments to the
email) for each account. What I am trying to do is exclude backing up the directories that contain any messages/attachments associated with the Exchange account since that is already backed up at the office. Therefore, I would only be backing up the email
and attachments associated with the two personal accounts. The work Exchange account is very large and since I am paying for backup capacity on my laptop, I don't want to pay for the large amount of work email to be backed up!
Any help is appreciated!
I am unable to print off any attachments after I have downloaded them on my computer but I can if I use other computers at different site. I am using windows 7 and I get a notification after I hit ok print that says unable to print
document . after that it says page numbers not listed or similar but they are listed.

Usually I have to download attachments from Outlook.com to my PC and then upload it to Skype drive. So I am wondering if there is any way to sort attachments from Outlook.com to Skydrive directly.
