Account Verification “Temporary” Problems

I am currently having the issue where I receive: "There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later" after the account verification page.

I have tried with different browsers (Firefox 25.0.1, Chrome 31.0, Internet Explorer 11, Internet Explorer 10, Safari, Ice Weasel, Lynx, Konqueror, Firefox for Android, Safari for iOS), different computers connected to different service providers, different operating systems (Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate SP1 & Home Professional), Mac 10.7 Lion, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander, Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin, Backtrack 5r3, Kali 1.0.5, Ubuntu 13.10 (LiveCD), Backtrack 5r3 (LiveCD), PartedMagic 2013_11_11, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, iOS 7.0.4).  I have cleared the cache, disabled addons, started in private mode, deleted all temporary files, disabled firewalls.

Help! I can’t access my email because of Microsoft security

12. November 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Uncategorized · Tags: account verification, Microsoft security Microsoft
Microsoft has locked me out of my email which they claimed was hacked. I cannot prove it was mine through the account verification form because i never personally contacted anyone with that email address nor have I made any files. However I have some important accounts from other websites linked to that email with important messages. What can I do to get my email back?

My account has been compromised and filling online forms is not helping

Hi,

I am getting rather frustrated as I have been filling online forms to verify my Hotmail account but keep receiving

We recently received a request to recover your Microsoft account *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Unfortunately, we were unable to verify your ownership of this account using the information you provided. Microsoft takes the security and privacy of your personal information very seriously, and we are committed to protecting the personal information of customers. We have taken the additional step of blocking your account *** Email address is removed for privacy *** until we can verify you as the account owner. This will prevent any further use of the account, and protect you from any possible malicious activity.

Please submit a new account verification form.

Now apparently I have reached all the maximum attempts. I need my email to access my work related stuff and getting frustrated as there is nowhere to turn to as you do not have any helpline. Any chance to get in contact with me so I can provide you with my details and you can send me the verification link to my other alternative address please?

Thanks Hana

Sending newsletter emails from custom domains account

09. November 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: account verification, application, custom domains
Hi,

we are using Microsoft's custom domains on our own domain. We have around 20 mail boxes there and we want to start sending automatic newsletter emails from an application using our special email account on custom domains. Mostly on emails under the same domain. I have found that after a while, account verification is required to send more emails - but that is a problem - because the sender is an application not a human. Currently it is working perfectly with a Gmail account. But we want to have it done by our email on the same domain as other user's emails. Is there such solution to turn the automatic verification off?

Sent account recovery request and then with successful email. However, still need to wait for another email to motivate the blocked account

I have a mail account which was blocked.
I had already filled out the account verification form and successfully verify that I am the account owner.

In the mail from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***,  it will be another email including the reset password link that will be sent me later.
However, i wait for a 3 day ago. I still has not been received this email. So, i am no idea to continues my account recovery.

Could you please help to check my case, here is my account recovery request ID:105580286

Requests for account verification from Outlook or Hotmail team

16. October 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: account verification

I frequently receive e-mail asking for account verification and threatening closure of my account.

When I look at the sender's e-mail, it appears to be suspicious because of the: name, the source, or the country of origin.

I have a paid account with outlook, and do not expect them to close the account.

The request for certain information including my password makes me very suspicious.

I usually totally ignore these requests.

Do others have this problem? What do you do about it?
