My subscription renewal date is Aug. 14 each year. I have just received a notice that the service has been cancelled but the reality is that I cannot update my account info. For the credit card is giving me the following message:
"error
Our system is temporary unavailable due to technical reasons. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact customer support.
  • Correlation ID: 5fcb4664-87de-43c1-9761-f6ad45c761da
  • Session ID: af352365-a332-40b4-97ca-12fa03508b6d"

Not sure what should I do since Window Live Hotmail Plus is not basically existing anymore, but at the same time I don't want to have my account blocked or similar.

Thank you for helping!

I have 2 hotmail accounts and I am continually being asked for an access code for each account – and it doesn’t work!

12. August 2013 · Write a comment · Categories: Hotmail, Outlook.com · Tags: access code, account info
I provide the code I received initially and if it is accepted (and it isn't always) then am only able to get to my account info page. I CANNOT get to my messages. Equally each account is the reference for the other in terms of receiving an access code. I have also provided a non MS account for those codes. Regardles of how I receive the code(s) I cannot get to my mail. I do NOT want this hassle - the system was fine before - login (user-name) and password. Why this mess of codes and so on. And how do I get to fully access my two accounts again - the in-boxes etc.?

When I have had fresh codes sent I still end up on the account info page only!

As it stands I cannot access either of my two accounts and this is going to present some serious issues very shortly. Whoevever dreamed up this latest process seriously needs to re-address it and ensure that the sytems works properly - when a code is provided. I do not wish to use codes - other than my until now standard login path.

Notifying me when I get an answer here is of course not a working proposition; as I cannot access any of my hotmail accounts messages!!!!

I need to talk with someone regarding a specific email account associated with a Windows Live account. I recently purchased a computer and while I was setting up the Windows 8 features, my account got deactivated and now I cannot access any of my online settings or account info. Please respond ASAP as I will be standing by for help with this issue.

Thank you .

My private access and account info appeared on incoming memo from a friend.

I received an email from a friend into my Rogers email inbox from his Hotmail account giving as the subject "Hotmail". In the text box, appeared an http address and then below it, my friend's message. When I opened the http address thinking that he wanted me to look at something, it turned out to be the access straight into MY Hotmail account right into the InBox showing all my emails etc., also access to Sent etc.

When I contacted him, he knew nothing about it and when I asked him to check his message in his Sent box, there it was, exactly as I have said. He was astounded and erased it.

What has happened here? I have erased all of my messages in my Hotmail account both sent and received and am now frightened to use it.

Lost account info

I have an employee who created a microsoft account with her work email so she could install her new Office Home and Business 2013.

She was getting error messages every time she would open it regarding activating the product online. After searching this site I seen a suggestion to reinstall the product so I uninstalled, rebooted and started to reinstall.

I am now at the screen to log into the microsoft account. I cannot because the password has been forgotten. I have the reset link sent to email, it gives me this error message every time I click it:

"There's a temporary problem

There's a temporary problem with the service. Please try again. If you continue to get this message, try again later."

I tried creating a new account but I'm assuming this isnt working because the key is linked to the old microsoft account. I'm not sure, but when I enter the key and enter the new account info I'm taken to a screen that says I don't have any microsoft products and to go to the store...

So the account it was installed with before is locked and/or requesting password change doesnt work.

This is a huge pain, if anyone could help me how to get her back working again I would appreciate it.

Account hacked, cannot log in or recover, please help!

Is there anyway to get help recovering my account? It was hacked and I think the password was changed. I submitted the password recovery form a few days ago and finally got a message back saying there wasn't enough info to verify my account. I definitely copy and pasted the title of the last email I sent and the last email addresses I sent it to. I correctly answered security questions and named folders I created.

I am concerned that some of the account info was altered by whoever/whatever hacked into my account so I'll never be able to verify it. This is incredibly frustrating.

Thank you for your assistance!

I can’t access my now unlinked account.. please fix it.

I have two hotmail accounts one for work and one for everything else but with my two accounts unlinked I cant log out of my work email I mean it says I'm signed out but then when I click anything related to email or account info (i.e. sign in) it automatically takes me right back into my work email as if I had never logged out when I go through other options in account info I'm able to get to the sign in page but when I click sign in with another email or whatever it just refreshes the page but doesn't give me an option to sign in with another account this is extremely frustrating as I have stuff in my other email that I need access to. I dont even know my password for my other account because it's been linked to my work one for so long I never needed to know but at the moment that issue is on hold because I cant even get logged out of my work account to be able to get to the sign in page properly let alone figure out my password...

I get this screen:

Click "Continue" and get this screen:

I tick "Yes" and then Click "Continue"

I then get the sign in screen where I enter my account info:

Click sign in and I then get:

How do I fix this issue so my child can continue to use their accounts?

How to fix: “Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook right now”

Been getting this annoying and non-informative message all day when trying to use Hotmail/Outlook:  "Sorry, there seems to be a problem with Outlook right now"
There doesn't appear to be any kind of diagnostic, error code or explanation, just this cheerfully useless statement.

My sign-in is clearly correct as I can edit account info and see calendar, but Hotmail (aka Outlook) just gives this useless error with no code or indication of what is wrong.

I've tried all the troubleshooting steps.  I've tried 3 separate computers, 6 browsers, 2 mobile devices - all give the same non-helpful error treatment.

Other people can log in to hotmail from these machines so it appears my account is broken.

Also, can I join the millions of users complaining about how you are ramming us into Outlook?  There are other mail services people will switch to if they feel disrespected.
