When I purchased Windows 10 I was unable to open any pictures.  After some online support from Microsoft Live Essentials was installed, which allowed the pictures to open.  Today I logged onto  my PC and got an error message saying that My Pictures had a registry error.  Not sure what to do to repair. Looked up online and found instructions to  reset the  Photo App without touching the registry, however, as I use Live Essentials to view, I don't know if this will have any impact.  Can anyone offer a suggestion how to fix? Thanks
