How do I turn off spell check in Windows Live Mail?

I'm able to login to http://live.com via the web browser, but cannot get a successful login via my email client , Claws Mail. Exactly the same username and password.

Yet I can successfully use POP3 (in Claws) to get emails from GMail, Yahoo, our ISP, and a number of other email servers ??

I am using pop3.live.com and port 995 , as per Microsoft documentation. Have tried changing it to pop-mail.outlook.com:995 , but same error. Using a SSL/TLS connection.

The Microsoft Exchange POP3 service states it is ready, gives an "OK" on the username, but fails on the password ..

2020-09-04 07:41:20] POP> PASS ********
[2020-09-04 07:41:25] POP< -ERR Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.
*** error occurred on authentication
*** Authentication failed.

Yet the password is exactly the same as the password used to login to http://live.com via a web browser.  There were some posts (about 4 years old) that suggested there is a setting in my Microsoft account to "allow" POP, yet I cannot find that option ??

I downloaded all photo's from iphone into Microsoft photo. Problem is I'm in FB and want to access those photo's and it does not allow it. Do I have to take from the download, then move those photo's into folders in order to access the all? Why can't they come up as access them that just got download, why?

After the latest Windows 10 update my Live mail would not connect to my mail servers. When I start Live mail I get an error that the program can not locate "mail.msi". I tried to reinstall Essentials 2012 but it said there was a problem and it could not complete the install, the code it gave was that a version was already installed. When I uninstall Live mail, the program says it uninstalled live mail but it is still there! How can I uninstall Live Mail?

For the past several months my Windows Live Mail 2012 has been downloading all messages from the previous day that have been deleted.  How can I stop this from happening?

Windows Live Mail and, I suppose, other mail programs, offer 'Message Rules' that a user can massage to reduce the clutter of Inbox junk.  In Windows Live Mail, there are various fields that can search for terms and either delete or categorize incoming messages as they are received.

In setting up a rule to funnel messages from mail domains that have become notorious for spamming, it's easy to tell the WLM client to "Delete all messages with .biz in the Sender field."  Works a treat with .biz, .info, .us, but I can't make it work with .co because that also causes all mail from .com domains to be deleted as well.

Is there a way to further specify or isolate a .co domain so that WLM does not also act on .com addresses?  Thanks!

I keep all my important emails in a Folder called Saved......100's of them.  Now my Saved folder only shows

emails going back one month.  I obviously can't search and recover them one at a time. I have deleted all "rules" and tried a few other things, but no luck.  I do have an Outlook 2010, that I open occasionally to sync and backup my online emails, in case something like this happens..because it has happened before.

Thanks.
