Question about Outlook Express

I have not been able to receive emails from  talktalk.net since upgrade to windows 10 new version on 19/09/2020 to windows live mail 2012. this was working okay prior to upgrade. Have spoken to talktalk and they state this is a Microsoft problem and would like advise on how to resolve, have been told to  delete account and reinstall again but if I do this will I loose all my emails that  are filled in live mail.

My pics seem to be sorted by date the picture was last moved or filed, and changes when the picture is moved to a different file.

Widows 10 just completed updating and now I can't get my e-mails. When I click on an e-mail, it gives me the following message.

"Windows Live Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again."

I have this insanely frustrating problem where when opening an image with Photos app, every like second opened image just goes black screen (dark mode, would be white screen in light mode) and the app stops responding.

The only way of fixing it TEMPORARILY is 1. resetting the app in Apps & Features or 2. going window mode (square button) then closing (X) which takes around 10 seconds because it is not responding, then opening an image - this sometimes opens the image instead of the black screen.

Both of the "fixes", especially the "reset" one that is thrown around every single thread about this issue - is only a fix for like 2 image opens. Then the issue repeats. I don't want to keep going to apps & features and resetting Photos every single time this occurs.

It's been an issue for over 2 months now. Multiple windows updates didn't help. Reinstalling Photos app via PowerShell didn't help. The windows store troubleshooter also not. Display drivers have no correlation to the issue. What can I do?

I received this message after the latest update to Windows10 was applied to my PC.

I found a previous post that said to run maintenance, which I did.  This did not help.

The next note says to do a reinstall of LiveMail.  Will this wipe out my existing messages?

I cannot lose them.

Please advise other ideas.
