My .eml messages have ALL had the OUTLOOK icon added to them in C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail ! Does this mean my WLM 1012 on my PC-Windows 10 Build 1909 has become fundamentally corrupted?

Here is an example:

I AM able to open them in WLM 2012 but I wonder if I should RE-INSTALL my WLM 2012 before I continue to move over additional UNCORRUPTED data that had become dis-associated from a properly-working Mail.MSMessageStore that is all now stored on a different SATA-enclosed hard-drive "D."

'

Please note that when I successfully read .eml data stored on that "D" drive, those emails (understandably)displayed the icon pictured above too.

This is my first follow-up to the problem I described on October 8,2012:"Restoring WLM 2012 data storage after an 'overload.' " If moderators consider this properly placed within that thread, kindly re-place my query. Hopefully with a response too!

I'm using Windows 7 and WLM 2011. WLM seems to have crashed Sunday afternoon after I changed my password on DirecTV and I can't get it back up. I''m getting the 0x8CCC0003 error code and can't send or receive. Also, the Inbox seems to be missing now. Please help or advise a phone #.

                             Thanks,

                                  Jim

Live Mail keeps stating I'm using the incorrect password even though I know that's false, as I'm able to log in to my email account through a portal. I'm using Windows 10, the service is through AT&T/Yahoo and the error ID I'm getting is: 0x800CCC92. I've occasionally encountered this issue before, but the app usually rectifies itself. Not this time. Hope someone can help me.

My WLM 2012 is running on my PC-Windows 10 Build 1909.  I have over 35 gigabytes of email messages, mostly in Storage Folders to which I sometimes access and add.

Yesterday, while trying to copy and paste from a secure website,I received a fleeting popup that stated " your WLM data has been lost." Apparently,i had overloaded my beloved WLM!!  I then saw that all the messages in my Inbox,Sent,Draft,Junk,Delete folders had been [properly]moved to newly-created Storage folders ! The data of these messages are all readable, etc.,and have full Properties in the appropriate folders found in C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail.

However, here's the real problem: The vast bulk of my messages's Subject headings in my WLM Storage folders ARE present but the original content unavailable to read as apparently proper communication with an uncorrupted (?) Mail.MSMessageStore (?) has been lost (?) My Mail.MSMessageStore currently has 462 MB of data in its Properties. (FYI-In a WLM backup i have saved from August 2020,496 MBs were then present in my Mail.MSMessageStore.Is this change significant?)

Though i can read the correct Subject headings when i open these messages in their Storage folders in WLM,all the messages in a subfolder have the same content when opened. And the content states "Empty" when i look at the corresponding subfolder in C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail with Properties of "zero."

I did copy everything-(Properties STILL STATES IT HAS THE CORRECT NUMBER of GIGABYTES!!) now present in C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail into another SATA-box connected hard-drive disc before attempting any further steps. The properties of the affected subfolders are the same here as in the "C" drive but no further steps have been taken yet as i await guidance if available.

Thank you for your kind attention.

I have Storage Folders within Storage Folders within ..within.. Question: Is there ANOTHER place to archive them so as not to impede proper working of my WLM 2012 running on a Windows 10 PC Build 1909?
