I am exploring options to create a collage of pictures using the phots app in MS. I selected all the pictures and looking for the create button to create a collage but that "create" option is nor featured in the app. Any solution to address this is really appreciated.

I need to download Windows Live Essentials so that I can use Windows Movie Maker for a birthday slideshow for my husband.

I am aware it is no longer available on the MS Website, but wondered if anyone had a genuine link for a download of it?

Movie Maker is a superb package, and I have no alternatives that have all the features I need.  The new HD Movie Maker Pro is absolutely rubbish in my view, and is missing basic features.

I've read all the notes that were posted and on my desktop I went to the register and found the user key, changed the values and fantastic it worked. I have the same problem on my laptop but when I go to the registry I can't locate Windows Live Mail. I've typed it in, gone through all the options on the list on the left but it doesn't appear to be there. Any suggestions? Thanks 

When establishing a Microsoft account with a current email address, is it limited to '.com' and '.net' domain name extensions, or are other extensions like '.gov' and '.us' acceptable?

Yesterday when attempting to create a Windows Pro VM user account which was attempting to simultaneously create a Microsoft account, it would not accept an existing .us address, stating it didn't look like a proper email address. 

Is there a separate endpoint where it can be created?

When I tried to login to my hotmail account (ending with @hotmail.com) several days ago I was asked to change it to alias (I had one ending with @outlook.com). After that I can't login via @hotmail.com. Only via alias (@outlook.com).

When I enter old @hotmail.com account at login.live.com I get the following error:


That Microsoft account doesn't exist. Enter a different account or get a new one.



I'm not receiving mails to old @hotmail.com address. When I try to send email to my old @hotmail.com account I receive the following error:
