Question about Outlook Express

Hi, I am receiving several emails notifying me thag my email has failed to be delivered. Despite me having emailed the same people previously without any issues. 

Any guidance on what to do to help rectify the issue would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.

When I open Windows Movie Maker, it display screen as under:

Such curving is also done in Powerpoint slide show. I am using Windows10 version 1803 with clean installation. Please note that Windows Movie Maker in my office computer (also Win10 ver.1803) is working fine but in my home computer, I am facing above said problem... Please help

After installing the latest W10 update, my Windows Live Mail is unuseable.  All the screens are distorted.  The list of emails is not truncated to fit the screen, instead it wraps around on the perimeter of the window displayed sideways.  The same is true of the calendar (in calendar view) and the list of folders and the list of additonal feeds (i.e. contact, news, etc).  All the panes wrap the content around the edges of the pane!  I've had to go to an alternate email client.

Not giving me the option to use another email address to sign in

BT accessed my WLM account today (18/05/18) while they were attempting to resolve an email issue.  The end result of their efforts was that they deleted my email account (incl all emails) and left me with a WLM account which did not initially download any emails.  I have since set up a new account (all the old settings) which seems to be functioning perfectly, albeit it contains only the emails sent to me today, not my saved ones obviously.  I also seem to have 'fixed' the new account, so that it also downloads today's emails from BT. 

I am wondering if it is possible to recover the emails BT have deleted?  
Most of my emails were saved into subfolders which I created in my Inbox.

I run on Windows 8.1

My incoming mail server was POP3.  (BT altered this when they set up the new account to IMAP; I have since set up another account on POP3, as before, which seems to function for now.)

My outgoing server is SMTP.  

Having had a look through some previous threads, I have unhidden all folders and found the WindowsLiveMail folder, however there are no obvious folders in there which look like they map to my Inbox subfolders from 17/05/18 (or another time pre-BT intrusion).  I also do not seem to have the option to right-click on the Windows Live Mail folder and pick a 'restore from' point.  

Any help is much appreciated.

why has the above stopped working for the last 24 hours. I can send but not receive emails

I use windows live mail, and since the last windows update I can no longer open file attachments directly in my recieved email.

If I save these from the email, then the associated prog will open them. (ie pdf's, word doc's excel files)

Please tell me if I can fix this, as I don't need to keep saving every attachment.

It would appear trhis has been a problem in the past from what I can see, but unfortunately it does not list a fix.

I'm having a problem using the search feature on WLM, its not picking up the message correctly.

The problems started after the recent Windows 10 update

I have tried repairing the program but this has not worked and reinstalling the problem isn't an option for my really.

This same problem happened a few years ago and it was fixed by installing another windows update, has anyone encounted this problem recently? and are there any fixes?
