Question about Outlook Express

Since Microsoft doesn't support their old email program any longer, how do I just switch providers without losing my contacts, emails etc.....?  

NEED HELP!!!!  Can't send or receive email.  says password isn't correct...then says something about authentication and to call my email provider for help with this matter.

How do I fix it?

I noticed that one of my @gmail accounts sends as @outlook account.

Thus making the format the following.

Sent by: *** Email address is removed for privacy *** <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>

What I mean, that 2 of my different e-mails are for some reasons intertwined thus it shows that message is sent from one mial, but in <> marks it shows second mail.

How to fix it? As I have no idea why it's doing such thing.

When I created HOURS of content using windows live movie maker project, everything worked fine and I was able to watch, edit, save, rename, etc., but when I tried to play a video that was working fine last week, I got a yellow caution triangle and the "double-click-to-fix" message.

I tried changing the default program but WLMM wasn't given as a choice to associate file name extensions with. 

I can see what is happening: every time I download a video it has a name like "IMG_3923.mp4, until I save it under "save as", which then essentially renames the video file. 

But then, without explanation or warning, WLMM decides it wants to look for your file under the original name (not the new, re-named file-name).

Problem is, the file with the numbered-style name no longer exists, so it can searches browses but never finds the original named video file.

I suppose I could go through and "un-re-name" all my videos but with over 500 such files, there must be an easier way to simply tell WLMM to re-dis-associate the re-named file name and everybody is happy.

Is there an easy fix for this problem?

Can someone please help me, my pc was running fine and I never had any trouble with attaching my two digital cameras to it to download photos. Now that this newest update happened, I can't download from either camera, it is as if they are simply not there attached to the USB port. I tried two different cords, and two different computers and there is NOTHING there! It started occasionally telling me that Windows did not recognize them, then it just stopped completely.

This is a refurbished Dell OptiPlex that I just purchased, and it is doing the same thing since the update from last night, same evening that I bought it, it updated Windows. What can I do? I have very precious pictures on my cameras!

Can I undo the past two updates? Since that is when this all started!?
