Here is the error message I am receiving,

Unable to send or receive messages for the Verizon (XXXXXXXXX) account.  An incorrect password was entered.  The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

Server Error: 0x800CCC90
Server Response: -ERR [SYS/TEMP] Server error - Please try again later.
Server: 'pop.verizon.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92
Protocol: POP3
Port: 995
Secure(SSL): Yes

I have never changed my password, and always had the box checked, to remember it.  I was sending and receiving email until early October, when I began to receive this error message once or twice a week.  Since late October I have received this error message every time I tried to log on to Windows Live Mail.

Just now however, I checked my Windows Live Mail and did not receive this error message.  So what is happening that I am receiving this error message off and on?

Since using Windows Live Mail with AOL starting in June of 2017 I never received this error message and now since October 2018 I am receiving it.

I look forward to your help.

How can a company like Microsoft ACCEPT RUBBISH like the Windows10 Mail program?

You are a software company and the mail program is biggest load of sh.. that is out there.

Are you not embarrassed to employing people that cannot write code?

Is Microsoft as a company going the IE route. i.e. eventually being dropped by everyone?

With this kind of performance (even on such basic and simple tasks) you certainly will not be able to be relevant in the years to come.

Shame on you.

We will be actively discontinue using Microsoft in my community (and also provide the case for schools to look for alternatives as the young cannot be crippled by MS for tomorrow.).

Shame on you.

For some reason, Live Mail 2012 restores old deleted emails, recently over 1000 of them going back to 2017. The restored (or sometimes duplicates for recent emails) have the display name in quote marks followed by the email address in brackets like: "Joe Blow" <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>. My email provider claims the duplicates are not coming from them - they are deleted from their server after I download them. I clean out my 'deleted' emails daily, so they shouldn't be coming from my computer. Anyone know where they're coming from? Is this Microsoft's way of trying to force us to stop using Live Mail 2012?
