Hello,

Today my Windows Live Mail stopped talking with my email server.  Whenever I hit send and receive, a box pops up asking me for me user name and password, which is entered correctly.  Then is just pops up again and again.  I contacted my email provider and everything is good from their end.

What do I need to do?

Had sent an e-mail with 11 attachments 350k to 400k each to a couple of people. Reworked the email and added another 2 attachments and tried to send but got error message.

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity.

Tried to send a simple test email, it also failed. Checked old computer ,Vista, and it would send ok.  Tried to send large email from old computer and got error message same as above. Now neither computer will send windows mail. If I log into my Cox mail account, I can send emails normally from either computer. Rechecked server account settings, called Cox support, everything is normal. Only fails to send, receives ok.

Two different anti-virus systems, Turned firewall, anti-virus off for test, no help.

I imported some HD footage through the firewire input from my Canon HV20 camcorder that I know for sure is 1920 x 1080 quality and when I click on the imported file properties it shows 720 x 480 pixels. Why it's getting down converted to this ?  There is no setting selection for the quality of the imported video.

I cannot sign into Windows Live Mail.

You don't need to sign in to Windows Live Mail. You can simply cancel the sign-in dialogue and use the program without being signed in. Is this where you're running into trouble?

Perhaps you meant something different. You may be asked to log on to a mail server in order to send and receive messages:

If this repeatedly fails, cancelling will usually cause an error message to be displayed explaining what's wrong. Please quote any such error message in full.

The more details you give of the problem you're facing, the greater the chances of our being able to help.

Same problem.  Windows mail will not accept my password.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Gmail (phealy777) account. Header download for the 'Inbox' folder did not complete. The operation was canceled by the user.

I use Live Mail 2012 and Windows 10. Recently my outgoing emails have appeared in my outbox and the following message appears.

Your IMAP command could not be sent to the server, due to non-network errors. This could, for example, indicate a lack of memory on your system.

Configuration:
   Account: Blueyonder.co (c.harris)
   Server: imap4.blueyonder.co.uk
Username: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***
   Protocol: IMAP
   Port: 993
   Secure(SSL): 1
   Code: 800ccc0f

However, I have contacted a few recipients who say they did receive my email.

Can anyone help please.

Thank you
