I currently use WLM 2012 but recognise that it is no longer supported by Microsoft so I am probably going to move to eMclient.
My wife and I have separate email addresses both accessed through WLM and, between us, some 100 storage folders/subfolders.
I want to transfer all into eMclient and they say the export/import process is very straightforward.
My reason for posting on this forum is to ask advice regarding the file structure. I have found them all in File Manager but the structure is somewhat messy.
Firstly, in addition to the 3 email addresses that are current and correct there are also 3 "identities" with 0 files and not used since 2016. Can these be safely deleted? (They may have occurred when I copied the files from my old PC to the current one.)
Secondly, in File Manager some of my folders are subfolders of "Imported folders" and some as subfolders of "Storage folders" Can I move them within File Manager to tidy up the structure - without affecting how these folders appear in WLM?
Thirdly, I have a few files (old) under "Recovered items". Can these be safely deleted?
I am guessing that what I am suggesting will be OK but I would appreciate an expert confirming, please!
I can receive email and i can send email , i go to outbox and it is empty , but emails are not in webmail and are not receive ,

Happened just now.
Many of the historical storage folders have suddenly vanished. I can see a few ......but 90% of them have gone.
Mail inbox works normally.
I have checked the folder tags to make sure all can be seen. All OK on that front.
I have used the Windows Essentials repair programme. No effect.
Where have my folders gone? They contain literally 10 years plus of emails in various categorised folders.
This is a global....HELP>>>>>>>
Thank you
K
I have been using Windows (Live) Photo Gallery for years. I know it is no longer formerly supported. However, despite the removal of support for Geotagging, it does the job and allows for easy tagging of photos. I would hate to think that all those hundreds of hours spent tagging photos would be lost.
My problem is that something in Windows keeps changing the WLPG Picture library definition. Folders are either removed from the Pictures library or switched back to no-longer existing locations on the C: drive (my data files were moved to another drive).
Has anyone else suffered from this problem and, more importantly, do they have a solution?
What does my annual "Windows Live Hotmail Plus" Fee of $19.95 give me? I can't find anything from Microsoft on what this is. I don't know if I should cancel this or not. Thank you for any help.
