Problem: After password changes, MS Teams will load but it states that it ran into a problem and needs to restart. You restart and it asks you to login but the login page is blank/white and will not load.
I work in IT for a company and we have seen this many times, especially on password changes.
It seems the only fix is to restart Teams - it then asks for a login. If you put in your real, known good login, it will pop a login page but remain white/blank and not load.
In order to get it to load, you put in a bad login or a login that the computer does not know. It then will then pop a login page and it WILL load. You then correct the login to the known, good login and then it will prompt for a password. Input the password and Teams will load.
This has happened to many computers when password changes occur.
Question: This has been an issue since we deployed Teams months ago. Is there anything in the pipeline to fix this? MS is rolling out all these changes but cannot fix a simple issue like this when something is running in their own ecosystem?
In the middle of editing, my thumbnails disappeared and were replaced with a big exclamation point. I can only watch the movie, and I cannot edit it or publish it. I have to DELETE the 'corrupted' file JUST to publish an UNFINISHED VIDEO.
When will this ever stop?!
Anytime I load a video into the movie maker, it stops working all together. The file sizes are only 700MB, but as soon as I select the file and hit ok, it crashes.
Just wanted to make a video.
Hello.
I use Windows Live Mail to receive, send, and file my business email. I have four email accounts through my business's web site. As such the address for all four email accounts uses the format (email)@(mybusinessdomain).com. When I am in the home office, where I use Optimum for my internet connection, my outgoing server name is mail.optonline.net. My incoming server is pop.hosting.earthlink.net.
I have been on the road visiting family, and so far I have been able to modify the outgoing mail server name to those specified by each cable internet provider used by the family/friend with whom I've been staying, and I have been largely successful in sending, as well as receiving my business emails. Because my web host, Earthlink downloads to my PC my emails upon request, I have not had to change that in order to successfully receive emails. Changing the outgoing server has, so far, enabled me to send emails as well.
The family with whom I am currently visiting uses Comcast, and I changed the outgoing mail server to that which I discovered on the web--smtp.comcast.net. As recommended, I set up the outgoing server port to either 587 or 465+SSL=yes. With both settings I received an immediate error message. That message was...
The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's email address. The sender's email address was *** Email address is removed for privacy ***'.
Subject 'test'
Server Error: 550
Server Response: 550 5.1.0 Authentication required
Server: 'smtp.comcast.net'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC78

I then tried changing the server name to mail.comcast.net (trying it first with the port 587, then 465+SSL=yes). Each time this caused a long delay in sending an email, with an eventual error message. That message was...
The connection to the server has failed.

My web hosting company, Earthlink, may be able to shed some light on this, and I have called them, but they are closed today, as it is Sunday.
I need to be able to communicate with my clients while I am away.
Is there something I have overlooked in setting this up?
Thank you,
Barbara
I have been using Windows Live Mail 2012. It recently has been corrupted in that Contacts can not be seen or accessed, but an individual contact will still populate a new email
Is there a new email platform I can change to that will keep all of the existing emails and contacts in my current Windows Live Mail 2012?
Hi All
I use Windows 10 PRO and I have used Windows Live Mail Essential 2012 fine till 1 week before.
The WLM open, get all messages but doesn't let me to Send new e-mail or to Replay or to Forward, the message is:
"A problem occurred while trying to open this message. A problem has occurred. Please try again" see attached
The same message I get to PC and laptop.
Does anyone have the experience to solve this?
Thank you
