Question about Outlook Express

I cannot send or receive email.  I get the message:  the host imap.mail.yahoo.com could not be found.  Please verify you have entered the server name correctly.

Before that, I got a got a Windows Live Box wanting me to sign in with my Microsoft Account Password and Email address which was there.  Then it would tell me the Username which was not requested and no place in which to enter it, or my Password was incorrect.

I don't know what to do?

I have a PC with Windows 10.  I want to use Microsoft Photo to edit a video.  I am told that it needs to be updated.

I've tried repeatedly.  When I ask for an update (though my account), the system checks, then I get a notice which says "Download Microsoft Photos ... 780.0 KB".  That looks promising.  But then a lot of time goes by (over an hour in one case)  ... and it never downloads!

Is this just my problem, or is it a more general problem with Microsoft Photos?  Am I doing something wrong that I should correct?  Or not doing something?

Any advice would be appreciated.

I am trying to split a short video ( 1 minute 45 seconds) and delete a portion of the video so that I can add in another video segment in its place. I was able to successfully complete one "split" (after a lot of shutting down the program and opening it back up) but am unable to do a second split correctly. When I try to do a second split the portion that I want segmented off does isolate from the whole video but appears at the end of at the end of the video as a copy. 

For example: I am trying to isolate 45 seconds-55 seconds so that I can delete out that portion and put in a different 10 second segment. I was able to successfully split at 45 seconds but at 55 seconds it will not split. Instead that 10 second original video portion shows up at the end of the entire video as a separate segment. A split marker is still present at 45 seconds but not at 55 seconds. 

I have edited 2 other videos (longer) without any issue, on the same device, so I do not know why I am suddenly having issues. 

I want to add a small logo into the corner of a movie I have created. How can I do that?

I tried creating a small image, but it just expands to fill the slide.

I found out that there is a movie maker program in windows 10 that is build in the computer,

but for some reason I can't find it. I've searched everywhere.

Can you please tell me how to find it or if I need to download that in some kind of way.

Over the past 3 years, I have had to deal with Movie Maker distorting the screen as I create videos. It kind takes the image and reflects it diagonally and flips it backwards, making it very hard to do any kind of serious editing. Has anyone else seen experienced this. Really frustrating when trying to open and watch video attachments.
