Windows Live Mail FAQ
I am trying to migrate out of WLM. I need to export my contacts and seem to have a choice between .csv file and a .vcf file. I have a number of contacts with 2 email addresses - private and work. Exporting to either of the formats seems to only include one email address.
Is there a work around to get both email addresses? I don't mind a 3rd party solution.
I have never moved, deleted, or renamed any of my files. And yet Movie Maker keeps corrupting all of them, and replacing my thumbnails with an exclamation point. Like, seriously! Why can I not use my freaking files even though they're NOT EVEN CORRUPTED, or in a format MOVIE MAKER SUPPORTS, and I've not even MOVED, DELETED, or RENAMED ANY OF MY FILES? This is ridiculous, and only about 1 of my freaking images or videos in my entire project is saved, and the rest are replaced with an exclamation point. WHY?! I have to delete all of my other clips just to save a video that is NOT EVEN FINISHED. I am literally done with trying to make anything in Movie Maker, because it is just going to do it again the next time for NO APPARENT REASON.
Please give me tips, I'm sick and tired of this.
Since Windows 10 updates a few weeks ago, I can't find my photos. Nothing happens when I click on the icon.

Upgraded to win 10 home 2004 last night.
live mail issued the following:
Unable to send or receive messages for the 012 account. An unknown error has occurred.

I checked the account and everything is OK.

My people app is correct and only the appropriate email address is there. However, when I type a name in my TO line all the previous addresses show up as an option. I have reset my app, tested through gmail (doesn't happen there, addresses are correct) only in WLM. How do I delete these? The attached picture shows three email address for the same person, only the top one is in the people app.

Since the update from last night I get this message in Windows Live Mail:
Message could not be displayed
Windows Live Mail encountered an unexpected problem while displaying this message. Check your computer for low memory or low disk space and try again.
How can I solve this problem?
On Monday night 27/07/20 our work PC updated to the new version of Windows 10. When I got in on Tuesday morning our email system is no longer working.
I have attached a photo of the error message we receive. I have googled so much but cannot find a solution for this. I even installed Windos Live Mail 2012 onto my personal laptop to see if I could use it through that but it threw up even more errors.
Another big issue is that I cannot export our email either to back it up as that also shows error message.
I tried to uninstall the mail programme and re-install it but you cannot find the older version of Windows Live Essentials 201, or I couldn’t anyway. I have tried updating anything else that is needed for the new version of Windows.
It would be great if anybody had some advice for me of what else could be tried or do I need to wait for a patch?
I understand that we should probably move over to a different system but I love the interface of Windows Live Mail 2012.
