Hi, running Windows Mail under Vista SP2.  A Windows update ran itself today.  When I got the system back it went started Windows Mail (no input from me) and downloaded mail from my ISP - all by itself.  On completion, I have my usual list of folders and the updated mail list displayed from my Inbox.  Double clicking on any of these - newly downloaded and old mails - opens a window showing headers as expected BUT NO TEXT....

I haven't been using Windows Mail for a while because of an SMTP annoyance.  When I have downloaded dealt with emails from my ISP up to and including last week, the full email - header and text has been displayable.

I restored Windows to its previous version and got the 'success' message which also says 'data not changed'.  So it's still hiding all the text in my mail.  Attachments - referred to in the Header of course - open fine.  Just no text ... dating back years ... aaah well, dog's want walking now....

Any ideas?  Thanks folks

Jason
