I have accessed the same account on my Xbox for over 6 years and can't remember the last time I actually entered my password or even my email but earlier this week I was asked and was unable to get logged on.  I went to try to recover on-line but the email address is no longer active so I was locked out of my account.  I have chatted with on-line xbox help who suggested I call customer support who directed me to this site.
