For 5 years I have been using a Windows 7 PC with Windows Live Mail (Yahoo server). 

I just bought a new PC with Windows 10.  What is the best way to set up a new email system on the new computer while still having access to the thousands of emails in the folders in Windows Live Mail?

Do I just transfer all the Windows Live Mail folders and .eml files to the new computer?

I put this request in the Outlook category because I couldn't find a category that fits moving email from W7 to W10.  If I need to repost this in a different category, please advise.
