I updated to Windows 8 several months back and everything seemed to work fine on my PC.  After the update to WIndows 8.1 I am unable to launch several graphics programs.  When I try to open Movie Maker I get an error:  "Sorry, Movie Maker can't start. Make sure your computer meets the minimum systems requirements before trying to start Movie Maker again, and then try to update the driver for your video card if Movie Make still doesn't start."
I click the link for the requirements and my computer meets the all requirements.
I have 6MB RAM, Quad Core CPU 2.33GHZ.  DirectX version 11.  I do not have a graphics card but have checked for updates to Intel G45/G43 Express Chipset and shows I have the latest.  Driver Model: WDDM 1.1, Version 8.15.10.2702 (3/11/2013).  I have dual monitors.  (Another issue - When the PC goes to sleep, the main monitor stops working)
These problems started after the 8.1 update.  This seems to be a driver issue but not sure how to fix.
Any help appreciated
