I have a video/picture project that I completed using windows movie maker. I tried burning the movie to dvd using windows dvd maker. Most of the pictures and videos burned fine. However, the videos for which we used the trim tool to trim both the beginning and the end of the video are pixelated when viewed on the dvd. The videos for which we trimmed only the end do not have this issue. We tried burning to dvd using windows dvd maker and windows media player, and the result is the same issue.  The videos having this issue can be viewed using movie maker fine without being pixelated. The issue occurs after the trimmed videos are burned to dvd.

Any suggestions on how to prevent the trimmed videos from being pixelated when burning to dvd from Movie maker? Should I use another program, other than dvd maker, that works with movie maker to burn to dvd to avoid this issue?

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
