Hi - my service provider is BT but for the last 5 years I have been using Microsoft Windows Live Mail to receive, send, catalogue and archive my emails.  At the weekend Windows Live Mail wouldn't open, I tried to repair it and it then disappeared from my system.  I got onto Microsoft Saturday evening and they remotely accessed my computer, couldn't find Live Mail and then tried to reinstall Live Mail.  This was unsuccessful and now an error message comes up "WLD.Core.dll is missing"

I understand that Live Mail is now obsolete and that I may not be able to use it moving forward, but my concern is that I need to retrieve the emails that have disappeared and are very important to me.  I have a lot of them backed up on an external hard drive but when I connect that to my system it says that I cannot access them for the same reasons outlined above.

I would be grateful Microsoft, if you can recover the emails for them and perhaps reinstall them into a new system such as Out Look.
