I need to find an email from yesterday as evidence for the police that my checking account was hacked into – I cannot find it anywhere – please help

I do not know what happened to an email I received yesterday from my bank - it is needed as evidence to report fraud - how do I get it back - it is not in the inbox or deleted box!  I need it right now.
