I get a lot of emails forwarded to me as attachments.  I used to be able to open these but no longer can.  They still have the extension .eml but I'm told that the file type is, "WindowsLiveMail.Email.1".  I tried using back up and restore before uninstalling Windows Live Mail and then used restore to return the application.  When I did this, the attached emails opened normally.  However, after shutting down the PC overnight, when I restarted the problem had returned.  This happens using my LiveMail email address as well as my TalkTalk one. I should be grateful if anyone can provide me with a solution to this problem.
