When using Outlook on a PC, I was able to set my default font when creating an email message at a specific size, perhaps 12 or 14 point, but then magnify its appearance on my screen so I could read it more easily as the day wore on and my eyes got tired. Now, using MS Office 2011 on a Mac, I can't seem to find a tool that allows this.

I don't want to set a default font at 24 point and then have the receiver get blasted out of his chair by the huge image, and I also don't want to fuss with increasing the point size manually each time I type a message and then force myself to remember to make it smaller before sending. Especially because I'll forget most of the time.

Anyone out there have the magic key to doing this?
