After my old Windows 7 desktop died, I bought a refurbished Windows 10 desktop. The techie gave me the old hard drive out of the dead Windows 7 tower inside a drive enclosure. (The hard drive is in working order and no data has been lost.)

I would like to retrieve all my old Windows Live Emails, but from what I've heard, this is not straightforward. Someone said the only option is to export the Windows Live Email storage files into a third-party client like Thunderbird.

Any suggestions?
