I have recently received an e-mail titled RESET ALERT CONFIRMATION stating that unless I provid four pieces of info within 48 hours I would lose my account.

The supposed address of the sender was WINDOWS LIVE TEAM HOTMAIL CUSTOMER CARE(*** Email address is removed for privacy ***).  Is this a legitimate e-mail or a scam?

Will I "lose my account" as they have threatened if I don't answer.

When checking my Norton, I have not had any illegal attempts on my account as their message implies.

What do I do?
