My Outlook 2011 had a problem a few days ago and a window opened telling me I needed to rebuild the database.  I clciked OK and left it running for a few hours before it became unresponsive and I had to force quit.  After doing this, I could open Outlook, but have lost the last 3 months of emails, all calendar entries and all contacts.  The biggest challenge is to get the contacts back.  Is there a way I can do this from a TimeMachine backup?
I have found all my contact files in a backup version but cannot work out if I can import them in to Outlook or copy and paste them into the current 'main utility' file folder.  No luck so far.  Any advice is greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

I have a person that is telling me that any attachements that I send him comes over as a winmail.dat file and he can't open it.   I was told that this is because I need to turn off RTF (Rich Teft Formating)    The problem is I don't know where to do this in Outlook 2011 for Mac.

Please help.

I am installing a new Home & Business version of office for Mac over a home edition. It does not ask for the new product key and as a result will not open outlook. How do i overcome this?
If I click on the Outlook icon it goes to the screen, I have an Apple computer, and then immediately closes. I cannot see any emails.
Pouvez vous me donner la marche à suivre pour pouvoir transférer les adresses e-mails et noms de mes contacts de Outlook sur Mac.

Merci pour votre réponse.
i would like to be able to change the Font Type, the font size and most importantly, add bold or italics. I has an apple laptop, do not see a formatting bar, or a way to go to Preferences. All I have are the dump Emoticons, and the font in my outgoing PR emails is Courier only. this is ridiculous.
Please help.

This message started arriving yesterday when I downloaded an update for Outlook for Mac 2011. I have to choose "deny" or "allow". I choose allow because I can't receive my email otherwise. Once allowed it reloads 6-8 times, always with the same sentence as above.. Is this a screw up in the update?

Thanks
I would like to export all my mailboxes from Outlook 2011 to the Apple Mail.
There is no import for outlook 2011 when i choose import option in apple mail. I don't know what the problem is.

Someone can help me?
Thanks
I HAVE OUTLOOK 2011 ON SEVERAL MAC PCS,. WHEN I ACCESS OUTLOOK ON ONE MAC AND READ AN EMAIL, I CANNOT VIEW IT ON THE OTHER MAC UNLESS I FORWARD IT TO THAT PC.  i CAN ONLY SEE THE HEADER BUT NOT THE BODY OF THE MESSAGEOUT
I have the 2011 version of Office for Mac Home &Student. I've registered it and my account shows that I have it and that the product key is correct. When I try to update to get Outlook, I get the following message:

The product key is not valid. Make sure that you entered the correct key.  If the key doesn't work, contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support.

How do I get around this? I have rechecked the product key and I'm sure it's correct, and yet, I still get the same error message. Clicking on the link only got me to the forum. Does anyone know how to proceed or have a number to call so I can speak to a support person?
