This is pure unadulterated ****. I can't do it via automation, via phone automation as I have to be transferred to the Mac section (phone) and then I'm on hold forever and no one answers. All I want to be able to do is use it on my new replacement iMac!! I'm in Canada. What gives with Microsoft? They say 1 license/device and then when you need to transfer they treat you like a nobody. I paid for this product. Has anyone got any suggestions at all on how to get MS to respond? It's not like I'm pirating or mis-using their license. This is mind blowing. Brenda A.
How do I retrieve permanently deleted emails?
In my Outlook calendar, I created some additional categories for different work events, each with their own name and color on my calendar.

Sync Services is ON.

When I went to synch my outlook calendar with my Blackberry, it looks like 10,000 or more new calendar items were created on my Outlook calendar. My Outlook calendar is a mess.  It think the problem is with iCal.

It looks like all of the recurring events were duplicated 10 - 20 times each, including holidays.

I have turned OFF Sync Services.

I have two questions.

1 - Is anyone else having this problem?

2 - I have a Apple Time Capsule.  Is there a way I can go back to my Outlook calendar before this problem started today?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

I'm getting a little frustrated.

I got a new (to me) Macbook Pro 2012 Retina and was transferring all my data over to it tonight, including loading MS Office 2011 from my disc.

I am exporting from my Mac Air 2010 using MS Outlook 2011, file-export OLM file, about 2.6GB sounds about right.

Copied the entire Documents-Office data subfolders (all check marked including email, address book, etc) and the OLM data to a portable HDD then copied them onto the new Mac, then changed the database to the same one I was using and opened Outlook.  eMail sub-folders and accounts comes up, no data.  No problem, File-Import-OLM and wait 20 minutes while it says it's importing my email.  When it's done... no email.  Just empty folders with the right account names, but none of my emails.

Tried it 3 times, still no luck.  Help???
I have no idea what might be causing this, but when I turned on my Mac Mini, running Office 2011 for the Mac, a folder called "Office Logging" popped up on the home screen, and a program called Microsoft Database Daemon - Troubleshooting, began to run...endlessly. I can't find it on my machine, in Finder or anywhere else, and yet every 10 seconds or so, the screen blips, and the log adds another logging file. Because of this, I can't even open Outlook, and while Word opens, I can't type anything in it because every ten seconds comes that blip, which wipes out a lot of what I was typing.

I've got to find this thing and cut its throat. What is it?  More important, where is it and how do I control it?

I have deleted all of my outlook signatures, but my Outlook email still sends a logo that uploaded as part of a previous (and now deleted) signature. Thanks!

Hello,
I'm working in Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 & 365 Exchange.

I am developing an HTML signature with Dreamweaver, then copy/pasting the design into the desktop app, it deploys and runs through the exchange and is then synced back my desktop and the Apple Mail app on my iPhone.

My issue is that I have written the text to not resize on each table cell using the -webkit-text-size-adjust: none; css  (and also tried putting it on the body, in a style block in the head on all elements) in conjunction with the viewport meta tag set to width=device-width, initial-scale=1, minimum-scale=1, maximum-scale=1, user-scalable=no.

When I view the source code of the received email this data is stripped out, thus my webkit browsers are enlarging the text anyway.

After hours of testing and requesting support from all other avenues, I can only guess this problem is because of Outlook and not my code.

Does anyone know of any workarounds or know where to send me?
Just recently I have not been able to save new appointments to the Calendar in Outlook 2011 for Mac.
I am able to get items onto the calendar by entering them through either iCal or from my iPhone, but NOT by entering them through Outlook.
I am running the latest version of OSX 8.5 and the most recent updates of Office 2011.

Any Suggestions?
