For some reason I have multiple entries under Tools=>Run Schedule

So how  does one fix this?

So, problem and solution is clear. I need to provide "My Outgoing Server needs SMTP Authentication" just as Windows based Outlook. But in Mac based Outlook there s no option for this. After Google research;

What i tried;

- Outlook>Tools>Accounts>More Options ;

Authentication : User Name and Password Selected

User : *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Password : Ok

Unqualified Domain : Left it Blank.

Nothing Changed.

- Trying different ports 25, 587 exc. Nothing Changed. SMTP login failed also. Only works with 587.

- Trying to sent with SSL or without SSL on Outgoing Server. Nothing Changed. No difference.

- Trying to send mail 3 different clients. Apple Mail, Outlook 2011 and Mozilla Thunderbird. Nothing Changed.

- Trying to login with different username as; myusername or *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. Nothing Changed.

- Trying to send with free email clients like gmail, hotmail exc. It works! But we cant send email via these services to our customers of course.

I m run out of ideas, ma i find a bug or solution is still out there? Any ideas will be very welcomed.

I have seen this question posted recently, but none of the suggestions are working.  I have Gmail and recently the sent items disappeared in outlook.  I went in and changed the IMAP setting to keep copies on the server and when I did that, all sent emails showed up under the [Gmail] directory with me (Sender) in the header for every email.  I removed the account from outlook and set it up again.  When the account starts up, the sent items folder is initially populated then everything disappears in about 30 seconds.  Additionally, and I am not sure if it is related, there is a folder under [Gmail] that is labeled with only an apostrophe and has the email folders that I created inside.  I cannot option-click on a folder and clear the cache so that is confusing as well.  It is annoying to have to access my account via webmail in order to look up a sent item.  Please help!

Recently, I received in outlook mac 2011 all my mails double. How can I stop this?
I'm using Outlook for Mac. How can I send an email asking for a confirmation that the message has been processed by the mail server? What about an acknowledgement of receipt?
Thanks for your help
How can I recover e-mails older than 6-7 months?  I have not deleted them from my trash bin.  Thanks

Hi,

I recently installed Outlook for Mac 2011. I have 3 email accounts - imap (Yahoo & Gmail) and a personal email with Go Daddy.

I have 2 problems:

1. Outlook keeps downloading old emails, but only for my Yahoo account. I tried re-setting the "check for new mail" time to 30 minutes but this didn't fix it. I want to keep my messages on the server as I need to check my mail across different devices.

2. Outlook intermittently requests my password for both Yahoo and Gmail. When I enter it, the mail comes through so I'm confident it's not an incorrect password issue.

I actually have product support with Microsoft but using the service was as frustrating as the email issue itself (the guy asked lots of questions, said he would call me back and then didn't).

Does anybody have a solution? I'd be really grateful for any help.

Thanks,

Jo
