I believe I have come across a sync issue with outlook for mac 2011 but I'm looking for some confirmation...

I have a user who renames the subjects of his emails to help with searching for them again later on (simple enough). However it looks as if these changes do not update to the exchange server as when I log onto the mailbox via OWA or windows outlook, the subjects are all the originals. I've tested changing the subjects via windows outlook and OWA and the changes do replicate to all platforms. Seems to be yet again another outlook for mac flaw, has anyone come across this?

Thanks

Dear,
Outlook 2011 for mac: several times, when launching Outlook, it starts receiving old messages (up to 2500 messages at once). What can be the issue here?
Can you help in solving this problem?
Many thanks,

Hey Microsoft Community,

I recently decided that I wanted a different user interface than my default mail, calendar, and contacts applications in OSX.

I saw Office 365, and specifically outlook, and thought "This would be nice, I've used outlook before (at work) and I know it's a great mail client. And the ability to have my mail, contacts, and calendars in one application with one UI experience would be wonderful."

Apparently the ability to add your personal online calendars to outlook 2011 is null. It doesn't exist.

Unless I were to purchase (on top of the 365 monthly/annual price) an exchange server solution, I am not able to make a calendar entry in outlook and see it anywhere else on the internet or my other personal devices.

Why anyone would want an application that doesn't offer a simple feature like gmail/icloud/online calendar synchronization is beyond me.

Well needless to say I will not be re-upping my 365 account.

This is like when you walk into Best Buy and see that sad little sony walkman disc player for $30. No one will spend the money on technology that is irrelevant. Yes, outlook does email well, but that is 1/3rd of its selling point - online Calendars are essential in today's world and if you can't offer it then you might as well stop trying to sell a product that we can't use.

Also for any microsoft knight in shining armor - 'sync services' does not work

Hi there,

Some colleagues mentioned to me that mails are incorrectly formatted, but not all mails. I can see that mail format is correct in Sent Items, but my colleagues captured the screenshot of mail sent from me, a part of text is correct, a part of Font size is larger than normal.

The mail format is HTML.

Can someboby help me? Appreciate for your great help.

I want to add Outlook to my Home and Student Office suite (for my Mac). I can't find any link that allows me to do just that.  I did read though, that upgrading is only available in some countries.  Truly MS wouldn't limit customers from upgrading their software.  Can someone point me in the right direction.  I did ask MS for help but all I got was a link to a page that doesn't allow me to upgrade.  Thank You.
outlook will not launch
Activate office window keeps appearing.
word etc did load.
will not let any other programs update.
What should i do ??
Tried contacting microsoft support which was useless cannot get contact
I have the latest version of Outlook. I keep getting a message that says "quota exceeded *mailbox for user is full." According to Bluehost, our server, I have only used 5 mb out of 250 mb. Can anyone help me figure out what is going on with Outlook?

I have an exchange server at work and am using Outlook for Mac 2011 at home.  At first I was able to delete emails from my inbox on my Mac at home and not see them when I logged back in from my PC at work.  Now the emails just won't delete.  I get send and receive emails (though if sent from my home Mac they don't show in the sent items on the exchange server.  This is driving me absolutely nuts.  What do I need to change?  I have both iphone and ipad linked to Exchange server and that works just fine so not sure what I'm doing wrong.  Help!
