Ik krijg op mijn mac de navolgende melding tijdens het verzenden en ontvangen van mail via Outlook (dus niet in .com, maar in Office)

Specified string literal size exceeds maximum supported string literal size.

Wat moet ik doen om dit op te lossen?

I am having the following message on screen while replicating outlook / sending mail

Specified string literal size exceeds maximum supported string literal size.

What should I do to solve this?

Hello Community,

I have a question about my mails.

The older mails i have in my Inobx gets unread. The funny part is, that after a time the status changes to read.

I don't know in what time cyclus it changes from read to unread and backwards but it is disturbing.

I also tried to look at the mails on the web interface and there is no problem like in Outlook.

Is it possible that Outlook can't handle the sice of the pst file I have? The pst file is about 12 GB big and I read somewhere that after a particular size of the pst file Outlook gets confused. I am not sure.

Thanks in advance

PS: Sorry for my bad english. My mother tongue is german and I did not get an answer in the german forum.

I have been having MANY problems with Outlook for a while, many of which have been detailed in previous posts.

After it repeatedly asking me to 'verify' certain (non-essential) email addresses repeatedly, I decided to just delete them.

However, when I try to access "Accounts" it just crashes.

If I try through Preferences it just hangs, nothing happens.

If i try through the toolbar it creates a white square where ostensibly the account list would be.

i have done a clean install of Office for Home/Business 2011 and rebuilt the Identity at least 5x.

any other ideas?

Thank you

I would like my calendar to show all of entries in the past not just the last month or so. I would like to simply be able to reference as I would looking up a paper diary. I thought this would be easy but not so. Can anyone help?

How can I check how many more PCs I can install my version of Home & Office Mac 2011 on? I know I used one on my main mac but since I bought it off ebay, I would like to confirm that I have 2 more installs left.

I have a person outside of my organization that I'm working with that sent me a signed email last week. When I looked at it then, the email message in Outlook for Mac 2011 stated that it had been signed by her and it gave me the "Details" drop down that allowed me to view the certificates or add them to the Contact entry.

Now, when I go back and look at the email today, it's no longer giving me the signed message banner and is instead showing an smime.p7m attachment. I also received a new email today from her that was signed and it also has the attachment rather than the banner. What could have changed that would cause this to happen?

I am stumped on how to accept a Proposed Time from another person on my MacBook with Outlook 2011. Help?

I recently bought a new macbook pro and downloaded all of my old software onto it. I am running Outlook for Mac 2011 and all of the sudden, on my new computer, I cannot get anything out of my inbox. When I move any emails to specific folders or to the trash, duplicate emails regenerate in my inbox. When I log on to my gmail online, I see the emails are all still there as well (with tags next to them indicating where the duplicates are). Have followed numerous threads and tried everything, including:

Help, please!

Hi there!

Just bought a new macbook pro, but sending emails with mac mail doesn't make me very happy.

I want to send a minimum of 1.000 emails a day, just like I used to do with outlook on my windows machine. Without any problem I might add.

I'm considering to buy outlook for mac, but:

- is it the same program as it is in windows?

- can I use my contacts from outlook and NOT from contacts on my mac? (contacts on macbook can't contain that many email addresses).

Maybe, if outlook for mac is not the same as it is for windows, what kind of email program can you recommend?

Upgraded last Friday to OSX 10.9.2. After upgrade as done I received the message from Outlook at start up that I have to rebuild the Main Identity using the MS Data Base Utility. Rebuilding the database took approx 20 min and it returned with the message: Your database couldn't be rebuild (-18000).

I restored the latest non corrupted file from Time Capsule in Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office2011 User Identities/Main Identity and tried to rebuild from there. No succes. It kept coming back with the same error message Your database couldn't be rebuild.

I'm out of email since Friday and have to rely on horrible webmail. Has anyone suggestions how to resolve.
