I am using the Mac of a former employee.
When I send Outlook invites, the owner of the company receives an invite from me showing the former employee as required.
Please help.
I have had a most frustrating time as described below. I have not received an answer to that email.
Today I restored a Time Machine backup but Outlook could not restore the database. Error [-17997} I have lost my contacts and the folders containing saved messages.

Office Outlook 2011 v. 14.5.6 with ios 10.11.4
Outlook Search function for e-mail and contacts stop working properly after updating IOS
Just moved from windows Outlook and finding my way around but the biggest bug bear is that I have to view a day, a week, a month. In windows I can highlight a range and it will show that range on the large calendar. It annoys me that 3/4 of your view can be days that have passed, I'm only interested in what"s coming!
Thanks
I have this morning lost all sight of and access to a folder and its subfolders in Outlook for Mac 2011 v14.6.3 and OSX 10.11.4. I've had no problems up until today.
The files are still being received on my Macbook - the alert comes up on screen and the .olk files still show and can be read from within Finder with the path username/documents/microsoft user data/Office 2011 identities/ Main Identity / Data Records / Messages.
The host server is still acting normally, and files are being received on my iPhone and iPad as usual.
So the problem appears to be in restoring visibility of the folder within Outlook, at least to my limited view. I've checked View / Navigation Pane but that's working normally for all other files; I've searched trash and deleted items folders; and I'm stuck.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Shoot. I'm still seeing the original poster's issue with Outlook 2011, version 14.6.1. I'm running OS X 10.11.4. Anyone else still have this issue?
Original poster's post:
-------------------
Don't know if anyone finds this an issue but I rely on search in emails a lot. So now with either the yosemite change or the latest update to outlook, when performing a search, rather than showing the latest results on top and keeping the focus there while other results pile up underneath, it still shows the latest on top but forces the cursor/view down to the results that are displaying below. So you can't just open the recent ones and ignore the rest, you have to wait until it loads everything.
This is pretty time consuming to wait for all these results to display and then have to scroll up to the latest at the top again.
Anyone have a workaround / solution to this?
thanks

In Outlook 2011 for Mac when I view the IMAP folders...
the list does not contain all of the IMAP folders that are on the server. We have a server folder
called Spam and another called spam but when I look in Outlook, I only see the Spam
folder and all of the actual spam mail goes into the spam one.. if that makes sense.
Need to know how to be able to see the spam folder (lower case) ...
thanks for any help.
