I have not been able to send an email or picture from my mobile device since last Friday from my live.com account. If I try to send something or forward or reply to any incoming email, it says Cannot Send Mail: The user name or password for "SMTP: my *** Email address is removed for privacy ***@smtp.live.com" is incorrect. I have checked everything that I know how to check and have updated my passwords and made sure there weren't any changes or anything wrong. I am receiving all incoming, I simply can't respond or send. Has the Outgoing Host Name of the server changed
from smtp.live.com and I simply need to put a new outgoing server name in my device. Thanks for any assistance, as I use this phone regularly for work and have been stuck since last week.

Hi there,
there were several threads dealing with users who reported not working outlook. com search.
I experience the same behaviour. I search for an email lying in my inbox but regardless which search string I use Outlook returns no
result.
Same behaviour for different browsers and OS versions. Cache and Internet data of browser cleared.
Any suggestions?
BR
Michael
I upgraded Windows last night and everything works fine on my computer. I can get to all my usual websites even Outlook. But once in my outlook account, when on click on things, nothing happens. No check appears when I click in the boxes to the left of
messages, I can't open messages. Any ideas? My mouse works on every other site? Thanks.

I am not able to see my old emails date back before 2013 June, I have been using hotmail account since 10 years ago.
I am 100% sure i haven't delete my previous stored emails, account has been always active since this hotmail.com address is my primary account and I always check it either online (www.hotmail.com, now outlook.com), and mobile phone.
Please assist how to recover those important emails.
I would like to link one of my outlook.com alias to a website that I have built; where do I find my MX records and whatever other records need to be added please?
Created MS account and installed SkyDrive on Window 7 laptop. Access it with www.skydrive.com. Uploaded a file. Everything seemed OK, then the file disappeared from the view. And I continually get the error message "Sorry something went wrong.....check service status....." Checking service status tells me everything is normal... I can see the SkyDrive and file on my iPhone. Help...
I can receive and read emails without issue. However, I can not reply to received emails, nor can I send new emails. I have the same problem whether accessing my account through a web browser or my Windows phone.
If I try to send/reply, I almost immediately receive a reply from "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***" with the subject "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)". The body of the reply states: "This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed."
This same message is received no matter the addressee. Please help!

We discovered today that spurious emails are being sent to people on my wife's email contact list. I contacted the Microsoft support desk and was led through a process to reset her account password because I was told that somebody had probably hacked into
my wife's email by having her password. I'm dubious whether this will resolve the problem by itself. Is there anything else which should be done to avoid a recurrence of this issue? I am already carrying out a full system scan of our computers.
