I had a hotmail account and I want to access it again. I just found out that it has been hacked. When I go to reset it, it show an unfamiliar recovery email...and its a 163.com account or something like that. I googled what is a 163.com is, its all in
Chinese or Japanese writing. So I guess someone hacked it from ASIA. And when I fill out the form to answer the questions, and have it sent to another email of mine, it says that I didnt provide enough information. PLEASE HELP.

I am having same issue! My emails quit coming in Oct 16th 2013. I have tried to send test emails out from the account and it doesn't work. I have tried to send test emails to my account and get delayed error messages but they never go through. I have

I am trying to use cloud with my tablet and phone. I write alot and im always on the go. I copied my "writingsbackup" folder to my skydrive folder then logged on to sky drive and the folder and all the sub folders are there but they are ALL EMPTY. I tried
on my tablet, my phone, and my laptop, still empty. Ive even deleted the folder, cleared it from skydrive's recycle bin and added it again, Nothing. The whole point of this was to be easy so i would not have to email myself endless copies of files but ive

I have had a Telstra bigpond account migrated by Telstra. They changed the password on my email (which is linked to the live account). As a result Skydrive on my PC needed to be reset up to use the new password which then has forced a full resync of all
files. Also noticed that when I manage the skydrive account using the new password it is showing that I only have a 7 gb account although I previously purchased an 100gb upgrade. The result is my files are not syncing and I have no usable skydrive. I need

I am so confused. It seems to be a very complex and interwoven set of problems so I will need to lay this out and take it in steps.
I have an old Microsoft Account that I set up years ago with a POP email address.
When I setup my new Windows 8 computer, it asked for my Microsoft Account Name and email address, so I the old POP email address. Then I tried to set up my Mail App on the new computer and that's when the fun started. I finally realized that it is impossible
to add a pop mail account to the Mail App. So I tried to change the e mail address on my Microsoft Account to an existing Hotmail email address, and in the process, lost admin access, which I could not recover and had to run the recovery discs.
The Hotmail address was an old one that Microsoft had converted to Outlook.com, so when I set up the computer the 2nd. time, after running the recovery discs, I used the Outlook.com account with the Hotmail address. That seemed to work pretty good and
I even figured out how to forward my pop mail to the Hotmail address so I can now get all my mail in Outlook.com and I could add the Outlook.com account to the Mail App on the new Windows 8.
But now, it seems that I have the one good Outlook.com account with the Hotmail address.
Then I have another Outlook.com account with the pop email address, (which does nothing) and I also have a "Microsoft Account" with the same pop mail address. The reason I set up the Microsoft Account in the first place no longer exists, so I don't think
I need it.
Question:
What, if any, problems would I have, if I completely deleted the old Microsoft Account?
I wanted to share public folder with my colleagues, but it was requested to verify my account. I put my phone number, but in the box for selecting country, there is no "Cambodia". I appreciate for your help. Sovann

I've got 2 email address in the same situation. It keeps telling me to verfy the account and won't let me log in.
I've tried resetting the password but it ask me to go through the verification process which i did for many times more than 5 times.
then they say " Unfortunately, we were unable to verify your ownership of this account using the information you provided. Microsoft takes the security and privacy of your personal information very seriously, and we are
committed to protecting the personal information of customers."
I understand the company's concern on privacy issues , but is there anything i can do to get it back.
The account is definitely mine and probably some of the questions i have forgotten because it was opened for more than 10 years and one of them was over more than 3 years.

In the past few days I have noticed that all of my hotmail history older than 1 month appears to have been deleted with no action taken on my part. Does anyone know where I can locate this email history?
I have tried to recover deleted messages from the deleted folder but this has not returned any of the messages.
