hi ive found 1 thread that appears unanswered, so thought i'd try my own....
going to mail from start apps my mail account is receiving my mail but I cant set it to collect the mail as it arrives I have to have it set to either 15/30 minutes or hourly or manual as soon as I select "as it arrives" it says its having problems doing
that and that is should change to one of the other 4 options and then try and change it later??? whats baffling me is I did have it receiving mail as it arrives the other day (but realised that the copy of windows 8 on my laptop was a pirate version as ive
just bought it second hand and bought the proper version from Microsoft yesterday) and now I get this check settings message on my accounts???? HELP!!!!! im a sky mail customer by the way and they use yahoo as their client
Hi, I would like to share files in my skydrive, but I always receive this message: Sharing from this account has been temporarily blocked. To get unblocked, please verify your account information.
I get sent to a page where it asks for my phone number, but I do not have a phone. Is there some other way I can verify my account to allow me to share files?

Im stuck with the "Windows live mail" plateform at work, and of course, the soft isn't in english. I don't think I can uninstall it without getting in trouble so Im trying to set up the interface in english in order to be able to use it properly.
It seems that im not the only one who can change the language. If anyone knows how to do it please please please help !

last week I updated my windows 8 to windows 8.1. After update I signed in to same account as before but this time skydrive is not showing any files neither it is uploading any file form my laptop. When i open the app it shows SkyDrive is temporarily unavailable at right-top corner.
And even files from MS-Office are also not uploading to skydrive.
Furthermore I am facing same problem in uploading files from my skydrive app form windows 8 phone .
Please let me know how to sort it out.

I installed Windows Live Mail on my PC last weekend and have been successfully using it for the last week, having synched several email accounts. I have tried to log on to the account from my laptop this morning but it just brings up a new, empty Outlook
Mail account. How can I access the accounts in my Live Mail account via the laptop? Thanks
I have this error notification on Windows 8.1 which says 'Files can't be uploaded because there's a problem with a file or folder'. This error followed by a file path. I have managed to take care of this erroneous folder and now that 'busy syncing symbol'
on the folder is gone.
So, SkyDrive is back to normal and everything is good. Unfortunately, the above error continues to remain in the SkyDrive app and the icon in File Explorer continues to have a exclamation symbol next to the SkyDrive cloud logo. There are five pending files
to upload blocked because of this and the error message won't go away and that exclamation symbol won't go away.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am unable to view the next page and also jump to the last page of mails in INBOX, SENT and DRAFTS in OUTLOOK.
THIS IS ONLY HAPPENING IN SAMSUNG HANDSETS with ANDROID OS (I am using a Galaxy S4 Jelly Bean 4.3 OS).
When I press the forward arrow, it gets highlighted in blue and then fades off.
Pls. advice on what can be done.

This is my first attempt at using it. I am logged on as myself on two computers that are side by side. On one computer I edit a doc, save it back to sky"drive, and close the doc. On the other computer, when I try to refresh the list of files, it just
give the umbiquious "something has gone wrong". Over and over again. No matter what. Other functions, seem to to work. I just cannot look at any files that were added even though quite some time has elapsed. Go figure. It seems less informative and less
user friendly than most MS products. Go figure. Maybe it does not think that the same person would ever be active on two devices at the same time. Surely not. Tonight dropbox (or even just USB sticks) seem to better the user friendliness and effectiveness
of Skydrive for me.
Have repaired WLE several times, have reinstalled WLE after deleting WLM folders, have entering the contact names from People's page... and nothing! I need groups and, as I 've seen, this is not a new issue, but many people os claiming the same problem
at least for over one year.
Have you any news on how to solve this problem?
I am having the same problem.
I am using my mobile (xperia z) to send the email - and it keeps sending it over and over again
I have looked in my outbox - the email does not seem to be there
I have deleted the email account on my phone, set it again, changed the password - but it is still happening ;(
Can you advise what I should do?
