NOTIFICATIONS SCHEDULES BEING RESET by the GREMLINS

Twice this year (2013) I have realized that I am not receiving anticipated notifications for events I have scheduled and set up three such notifications (1 week  before, 2 days before, and 1 day before). The previous instance was around the April time frame and when I started checking the notification schedule the three schedule slots were still in place but all had been reset to 15 mins. Today when I start checking, they have all been reset to 12 hours. Can anyone tell me what is going on and how to avoid this - it is really frustrating having to edit all my entries to correct them - not to mention short notice on events I anticipated would be flagged a week ahead of time.

Surface RT making ALL my SkyDrive files ‘available offline’ against my wishes

I've just noticed that the SkyDrive folder on my Surface RT appears to show all its contents as 'available offline' and all are busy downloading onto my device right now. I didn't ask for this, and I can't seem to stop it.


I right-clicked all the folders on my SkyDrive and selected 'make available online only', but to no effect; the syncing continues unabated. I tried doing the same thing via the SkyDrive app, selecting 'make online only' for each folder on my SkyDrive, but I get the same lack of response. Solutions please?

I can’t receive emails

I can't receive emails through Outlook.com.  I can log on, send emails, but I have not received an email since yesterday.  This is a business and we have a domain name, and another employee also is not receiving emails.  I believe we have paid a company, Melbourne IT, for our domain name.  Contacting them is near impossible.  Do I have to pay them for this service, or can I pay Microsoft.  I am not sure, but I think our issue is with Melbourne IT.  Thanks for any help !!!

So when are the URLs going to be fixed.... as far as I can see its been going on for months.... it would be really nice to finally have Canadian holidays on my calendar.... still says invalid URL.........

Pictures in Email

I am trying to send pictures in email, Outlook, as an attachment or inline from my Pictures folder on my PC.  The picture files are 10 to 14 MB. Too big to send in Mail.  How do I reduce the size of that picture file to 10 to 15 kb or something suitable to send in the mail?

When I type an email address in the outlook email address bar that it doesnt recognize it should allow me to add it to the contacts list-is there such a feature
