Question about Outlook Express

when I open an email in outlook, Hotmail and close the email I cannot open another email or any folder.  It appears to lock up the the entire page.  What can I do?  I have windows 7 home and internet explorer. 

I made my account a few years ago, and haven't had much of a reason to worry about not knowing the accounts password. Now, i can't even sign onto xbox live because i don't know the password. My friend (who supplied me with the email) never told me the password, so now i'm pretty much screwed. If there is any way for me to remove it, (I'm not a child, i would like to have all of these rights, perse) please let me know. 

I have applied for a new Microsoft password. I have been told that new password has been emailed to me but I did not receive any email< can you help????

I have successfully added my outlook.com account and the send/receive works...for SEND only. Does not even show processing to receive. How can I fix?

My account seems to have been hacked; however, I can't track it. I have been getting at least to "Message Delivery Failure" e-mails a week with e-mails that I myself did not e-mail. I then look in my sent e-mail to see how many spam e-mails were sent and nothing appears in my sent box other than e-mail I actually sent. I don't know what is going on. I have changed my password. I am out of ideas...

At first when I tried to sign into hotmail, I was told cannot log in due to various attempts. I believe some one else tried to get in. Now I had to get new email address. This is going to cause a problem, how can I keep my original email. Thanks for your time in this situation. new email address is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.
