since my hotmail account changed to outlook it freezes on the first page when i log in, i am not able to open any emails only delete them, i have windows vista.

I am constantly reporting phishing scam and still they keep coming, often the same ones or the same ones in disguise. What is a bit of a joke is that every time I complete the report this window pops up and thanks me for helping in the fight against phishing cam (or something to that effect). Who's fighting the fight and who's winning? Everyday when I go into my Hotmail I have to clear the rubbish and I if I leave it too long there's a ridiculous amount clogging up my junk mail. I've tried reporting and blocking and all I get is list of blocked senders about a mile long and just as many taking their place.
Ok I just checked the window that pops up in my junk mail and it says nothing about the fight against phishing scam, just a thank you for helping. I may be helping but it doesn't seem to be achieving much.
I have been trying to follow the moderators' suggestions regarding being unable to read my Outlook (Hotmail) accounts.
I have opened the https://account.live.com page but cannot locate the "other Options" area.

Please help. I accidentally closed my Hotmail account yesterday. When I logged back in today everything is gone. I tried to go in the deleted folder to recover, it does not bring anything back. How can I recover my e-mails? It says they are saved for 60
days.

I have followed your procedures re. add/delete contacts to a group,ie 1.click on contact/s you want to add to a group. 2. at the toolbar click "GROUPS" But there is no provision on the toolbar for GROUPS. Consequently I am unable to complete the transfer.
Please advise
Also cannot open contacts in Windows 7 , IE 10. But can in Mozilla. Had to customize IE internet settings to enable internet banking.
Concerned that the solution of resetting IE settings to default would jeopardize the latter.
