Windows Live Mail FAQ
After login into Hotmail account, on the top right corner, there is an option for selecting Available or Invisible under clicking my icon, I remember I have set invisible, but today, it switches to available, and I would like to know what wrong it is, and how to set to hide my account information for privacy?
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Microsoft recently informed me my Inbox had been hacked. Mails were being sent to everybody in my present and past address books. Even dead people, which was distressing. Microsoft took me through the procedure to set up a new password and I ran a Microsoft security scan and also an AVG scan. Both gave me a clean bill of health. Since then I've been unable to send an E-mail with an attachment. The mails are aborted during the attachment download. The reason given is one of IE stopped working, Live.com stopped working or there is a problem with Outlook. Help please!

Last Friday I received a telephone call at 8:45 a.m.(not impressed) and the person said they were from Windows IT and said it seemed my computer was sending unimpressive material all over the world. She asked if I could go on my computer and she would assist me in correcting this. I told her that I do not do anything on my computer over the phone and hung up. Ever since then I have been having problems with my facebook and hotmail. Is there a chance this call was legit? I have today changed my password and I hope this helps. I keep getting a message that my MSN is running a script and I have to click the box to stop it. So confused.

When 'hotmail.com' became 'outlook.com', I was ofered aliases for e-mail addresses. I added 2 aliases on outlook.com, and the mail for them transferred seamlessly to my main hotmail.com address. 2 weeks ago, the mail from those addresses (outlook.com) stopped forwrding, and I can't find the mail from those addresses ANYPLACE.
Any help greatly appreciated !
