Since hotmail changed to outlook, emails were lost and continue to be deleted

I have read several posts on how this has affected others and and am incredibly frustrated myself. I lost most of my emails which were not able to be recovered when the change happened and I continue to open my inbox with emails deleted. This is ridiculous and though I have searched and followed whatever steps I have found, I can not seem to fix this. I did see a thread where it was suggested to look into "sweep" which I am not familiar with and can not find in my account- could there have been an automatic setting that microsoft/outlook put on it (which they shouldn't have) that I can shut off? This needs to be fixed.

I have changed my Microsoft account password and a message keeps coming up that there is a problem with outlook.

Signing in error

Each time I try and log into my hotmail account I keep getting this error below? However my other hotmail accounts are working fine? 

When I report it, it shows resolved?

Anyone else having these problems? This is my main email account.

email on blackberry q10

I had this email and a second hotmail account working fine on my bb q10 untill it had an update on sunday. Since then the sir_heat email would not reinstall on my phone although it works fine on my pc. After trying all the options to reset and reboots my phone and numerious calls to my phone providers technical team i went to the store. After another 4 hours of resets we tried to access the email address on a totally different phone but this aslo failed access to my email account. Can you please guide me in the correct direction please. I tried using the same advaced settings as my other account and it still does not allow me to acces the email.

I have a windows phone 8 and a surface pro 2.  I have yet to figure out how to get my email.outlook.com contacts imported into Skype.  I have yet to figure out how to actually use Skype on my windows phone 8 using my Outlook.com contacts list.  Ironically there is an import contact feature for applications I have never heard of including Facebook but no Oulook.com.  I  have yet to see any integration between my windows phone 8 and Surface pro.  Skype is not very intuitive.. It appears there is a version of Skype pre loaded on my Surface pro 2 that is less functional than the Skype for Desktop.  Where can I learn about the differences?  Why is this so difficult?  If I log in with my primary email.outlook.com on all my devices shouldn't I see the same thing regarding features and options? I also cannot reach anyone regarding tech support... I despise searching through hundreds of logged comments on other problems and search is not feasible.  HELP

Emailing a contact that previously worked is not working; they are NOT receiving emails from my hotmail/outlook account

Used to email them without a problem. Email shows in Sent folder. No error is ever received and the contact never gets the email I send.

Have deleted and added contact back into my list.  How does this occur and is there a setting somewhere that I can check.

Using Outlook/Windows Live on PC running Windows XP.
