When I go from MSN.ca to Outlook, I must type in all characters of my Microsoft Account (e-mail address) every time. When it was Hotmail, all I needed to do is type in the first character, the system would suggest a list of previously used account names.
This feature is non existent now in Outlook.
I want to complete an email as a balance sheet, columns tabs
Can someone help?
For the past 5 days, I have not been able to sign into my e-mail account.
I have tried everything to get my e-mail accounts back but all effort failed.
I have also Submit a new form but the response has been that the information provided is in accurate.
Now I can’t even submit another form as according to Microsoft my limit has been reached.
I really need help to get this e-mail log in details back
Since last night I can't switch Hotmail accounts, they've disappeared. I used to be able to switch them by clicking on my name in the right corner. I can't log in to them separately either as they were made a long time ago (I think like aliases, but there
was an option to switch between them). Now I can't access them.
My Outlook accounts are blocked. I am unable to do the online verification because I have insufficient info. Texting or calling phone with verification code doesn't work as I think I've put in a landline number and I'm not even sure if I included national
code. Now my main Outlook email account doesn't even recognise my password to let me try online verification again, although given that I've been unsuccessful umpteen times there seems little chance that I'd suddenly be successful.
Microsoft Support do not appear to be properly supporting people. I see a lot of similar blocking events with other folk around 18th July 2013. Microsoft have a big problem here, and they do not appear to be properly helping their customers to sort it.
This has got to be one of the most stressful things I have ever encountered. I don't need this stress. I have anti-virus and keep Windows up to date. This is not my fault. I could have important emails waiting - job interviews even. This is driving me
to distraction.
I don't know how exactly I worded my security question, but the essence of it is correct - it surely just needs someone to manually check!

I'm trying to access one of my older Hotmail accounts, i haven't used it for 5-6 years probably and it's even longer since i created it.
However, i managed to access it yesterday, i forgot that some of my accounts are linked together, which means i can access all accounts by logging into one of them.
But now Microsoft blocked the account again + they also removed the link between all my accounts!!!
The alternative email is set to a non-existing email address (as far as i know), don't ask me why i did that, i was young and dumb i guess.
AND! this e-mail address I'm trying to restore is also my alternative email for one of my other accounts, and have been for a long time.
I've tried restoring it through https://account.live.com/acsr but I'm only getting this as response --> "Unfortunately, our automated system has determined that the information you provided was not sufficient for us to validate your account ownership."
And I've also tried to restore it by answering my secret question (name of my first pet). I've only owned one pet in my entire life, so there aren't that many names to choose from.
While on the topic of secret question/answer; i was editing one of my other accounts yesterday, updating my secret question when i noticed you don't allow answers shorter than 5 characters! my pets name is shorter than that -_- and i can't answer any of the other questions.
Tried calling Microsoft support in my country and the recorded voice just redirected me back to Microsoft's website again, so not help there!
Any help would be appreciated!

As of today I can not access my hotmail account, since the change. unfortunately all my emails are in there, so are the contacts, how can I retrieve my information oflong years, since they were not merged to my live.de account.
Can anyone help please.

i have configured my newly created domain email on outlook.com. Email works fine but i am not able to set it via SMTP.
I get error:
The SMTP connection failed to start [ssl://smtp.live.com:587]: fsockopen returned Error Number 0 and Error String ''
have tried both ssl and tls.
I would like to use this email in my prestashop ecommerce store, to send order confirmation emails.
port 25 looks blocked so used 587
on port 465 getting timeout.
Am i missing something?
I have a skydrive account that is set up to automatically sync and upload documents from my hard drive when any changes are made - acting as an online backup. This worked for a few months but recently the system has stopped uploading pdfs, autocad files,
jpegs etc. It does still sync and upload microsoft office files. I have office 365 and skydrive is part of that package. Also I am working on windows 7.
What can I do to resolve the problem?
I had a my business email account linked with my personal and can no longer get into it and cannot remember the password. I need access to this for my business so this is urgent. Please help me get into it.
