Question about Outlook Express

Hi,

As the linked accounts have now been removed, I tried to use the account aliasing to link an account instead, they are both @hotmail accounts, one is .co.uk and one is .com but when I add one to another it comes up with the following error:

"This email address is part of a reserved domain such as live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Please enter a different email address."

Now I do not pretend to be an expert so perhaps I'm doing something funadamentally wrong, but on the other hand I'm not an idiot and non of the guides offered by Microsoft describe an error like this. The reason I have 2 accounts one is for personal, newsletters, facebook etc and the other is for more formal things like utilities, mortgage, work etc and I would prefer to keep them seperate to a certain degree.

If any one could tell what I'm doing wrong I would appreciate it, the fact that these could be linked before and now I cant seems to me a step in the wrong direction!

I have an email address in my hotmail contacts which I can see if I create a new message and type k into the search bar it brings up all contacts with a K in the name which I can then click to add to the mail recipients. However if I go to contacts from the drop down menu this particular address is not in my contacts beginning with K. I have searched using different search engines for various parts of this email address with no success. It does not come up under any AV search but I would like to know how to delete this address when the only time I can see it I am not given any option to delete it. Ideas appreciated please.
