I have 2 email accounts that I wish to keep as use with different audiences. Until this week I was able to switch between the 2 using Outlook.com however am unable to do this now and getting rather frustrated having to log out from one into the other all the time.

I tried setting up Outlook express on my PC however found the hotmail account was not supported.

Can you please advise how I can set things up/which program I need to download in order to:

Run 2 email accounts on a PC

Keep messages on server when downloaded so I  can continue to pick up from my Iphone.

Thanks

I started a thread because I couldn't access my email but after several answers and replies, this thread has now been locked!

Why has this been locked?! I still have the problem, nothing had fixed it!!!

I have created a few custom domain email accounts from https://domains.live.com
I was able to sign in on outlook,.com with these accounts.
I was able to send email as well.
However, I was not able to receive any email so far ( from gmail or hotmail ), including sending to myself
After I entered my own email ( sending to myself ) on "To" field, it also said my email might not be valid.

When I sent email from Gmail, I got following error:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
@my email address here

Technical details of permanent failure:
DNS Error: DNS server returned answer with no data

Any suggestion to fix this? thanks in advance!

Tony

This is making me CRAZY! I can't add or link my previously linked email. I had 2 accounts and I NEED to get into my other email. When I log out, on any computer or phone, and log in to my other account NOTHING! I'm really angry. HELP!

You can't add an already existing hotmail account. It said "Trying linking" so I did and got "Page does not exisit!"

Today my iphone 4 s suddenly stopped sending emails. I have followed other suggestions including deleting and reinstalling the account

Hard restart, checking the stamp settings (which I cannot do because they don't show up) switching from wifi to carrier, etc.

I have the exact same issue now on my ipad.

I can relieve just fine.

Same occurs if I sign into outlook.com on my iphone.

Cannot send mail using Windows 8 mail or WP8 mail client.  Works from web client, so not an account issue.

Same for multiple users I have checked everyone has same issue.

Tried various devices and connection options i.e. home internet, work internet, 3G etc

Issue is with Microsoft, I tried logging an issue but received no help.

Where top from here or is outlook.com simply an unsupported product?

You have just proved my point. That you obviously do not bother to read and certainly do not understand what I am telling you....I have overnight recieved another 3 emails from you telling me to click on the url link  http/support.microsoft.com...............to see the response to my question.

How many more times do I have to tell you that this link does not work. It says cannot be opened in this frame.......then click here to open in a different window - does not work.....then add microsoft support to your trusted sites. Done this - and it does not work.

Are you all complete incompetant imbeciles?

why can't i close my account? i tried to close my Microsoft account but it won't let me even though everything is canceled and i shouldn't have any points with it either
We have been getting tips that our company signature looks bad in outlook.com - Many of our customers rely on free mail services like gmail and outlook (hotmail).

By "bad", I mean that it looks like line spacing is double in Outlook.com.

Information about the signature:
It is written in HTML with tables. Logo on left side, contact information on the right. It looks fine when opening the HTML-file from "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Signatures" in IE and Google chrome.
We tested ourselves by sending mails to an @gmail and @hotmail address. Then we checked the mails in outlook.com and gmail.com in internet explorer and google chrome.

It looks fine in gmail.com in both Internet Explorer and google chrome, but it looks bad in outlook.com in both browsers. The signature looks fine in Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2003.
